Bloodninja69 decided to manhandle the hamcandle while playing Sorority Anime Sluts 9

Too much friend info; dial it back, Steam!

[–] VelociCatTurd@lemmy.world 70 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Steam: Your friend is playing Mass Effect 3!

Currently throwing money at an Asari stripper

[–] five82@lemmy.world 15 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

I don’t know if I want my friends knowing that I’m typically murdering prostitutes at the Valentine Saloon or getting lap dances at the Vanilla Unicorn before I shoot the place up. Can’t let Wade have all the fun.

Steam, do not tell my friends of the unspeakable crimes that I commit in Rimworld. Only God can judge my sins.

[–] thesporkeffect@lemmy.world 9 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Organ harvesting isn't a crime, in many planets on the rim

[–] Zacryon@feddit.de 4 points 7 months ago

It is a difference how you treat those you harvest organs from. 👀

[–] ChaoticEntropy@feddit.uk 5 points 7 months ago

Toribor is removing the legs of an octogenarian to prevent further escape attempts

BigYiff69 is edging to a match-3 game in My Waifu HVAC Repair Elf 6

[–] Newtra@pawb.social 6 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Why do I find "match-3" most offensive part of that thought?

Your friend has missed 4 99% shots in a row.

[–] Seigest@lemmy.ca 35 points 7 months ago (5 children)

Guess the game.

Your friend has enslaved a local tribesmen and is having them craft a hat using leather made from their sons skin.

Great, everything is there except the name of the game...

[–] somethingp@lemmy.world 19 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Is it not crusader kings 3?

[–] lambchop@lemmy.world 21 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

I think they mean in the steam pop up.

[–] affiliate@lemmy.world 12 points 7 months ago (1 children)

i haven’t used steam a while (so i could be wrong), but it seems like that’s not a pop up. it looks like it’s part of the information that shows up when you click a game in your library. so i guess it would make sense the name of the game isn’t display there (since it’s somewhere else on the page)

[–] trashgirlfriend@lemmy.world 11 points 7 months ago

I think in the friends list it also lists the game in a section and then all the friends playing the game

[–] BradleyUffner@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Isn't this a clipped area of a larger screen that has the game as context?

Steam: Your friend has died 7 times fighting the boss.

[–] Toribor@corndog.social 13 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I'm glad FromSoft doesn't keep track. Some bosses had to take me at least 30-40 attempts.

[–] Archelon@lemmy.world 13 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Turns out they did (for DS2 at least) and a user on the other site compiled the data into a series of convenient graphs so you can see what the win-loss rate is for all bosses sorted by console.

I have played many games similar to this one, and I hate to admit this, but I think I'm too stupid for CK3. I just don't know enough about English royalty/gentry shit to keep up.

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 14 points 7 months ago (2 children)

I always assumed from videos I've watched that the point of the game is to either manage shit around Europe/Asia or fuck around as a noble of Bumfucknowhere, denouncing the pope, spying on your spouse, sending your entire court to jail, all for shits and giggles.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@literature.cafe 7 points 7 months ago (1 children)

The point is create a eugenics empire of giant geniuses who come out of the womb ready to tear a grown man's head off his shoulders.

And that other stuff.

[–] psmgx@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

I went with beautiful albinos, but same idea

[–] NoIWontPickAName@kbin.earth 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I want a battle sim version of ck3.

Like Digital Risk but with terrain and type advantages right down to being able to control different active battlefields as the general or maybe even squad formation level if you wanted.

The background can be all the complicated incest avoidance/embracing.

Basically the opposite of ck3.

I still want the option to make allies or trade treaties, just maybe let me hand it off to the cpu if I want

[–] bob_lemon@feddit.de 5 points 7 months ago (2 children)

You just described the Total War series

Knowing CK3 it is too dangerous that it would say "Marrying your sister". So gonna stay in invisible mode

[–] psmgx@lemmy.world 5 points 7 months ago

Marrying your sister is mild. Fucking every female in your family is par for the course on some runs

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemm.ee 16 points 7 months ago (2 children)

For some games yes, but I don't think I'd want people seeing me playing Amorous and finding out I'm in the middle of any NSFW bedroom scenes.

[–] tryplot@kbin.social 17 points 7 months ago (1 children)

"AceFuzzLord, has cum 13 times to the same blue bird boy"

[–] NoIWontPickAName@kbin.earth 3 points 7 months ago

That’s not fair. It doesn’t count the time between when you get off and then when you actually clean up and stop the video and look at yourself in shame

Your friend is currently destroying his computer as he died at 95% of tidal wave

[–] Buelldozer 9 points 7 months ago

His friend is The Spiffing Brit.

[–] JusticeForPorygon@lemmy.world 8 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Same with Discord. I love being able to comment on whatever my buddy is doing when they think they are enjoying a private play session

[–] avater@lemmy.world 13 points 7 months ago

Tencent also loves that

[–] Lith@lemmy.sdf.org 6 points 7 months ago

I think Discord calls it Discord Rich Presence. It's such a good feature, and I always get excited when I see it implemented. Sometimes when I look it up I'm lucky enough to find mods that add it for some of my games, too.

Exterminating bugs with a tank

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Sounds like EDF, though it's lacking "leveling the city"

[–] systemglitch@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

Could be DRG as well. I exterminated a lot of bugs with a tank on in that.

[–] ephrin@sh.itjust.works 7 points 7 months ago

CK3 is the best.

Where are you posted? In my current run, I started as the count of Gotland, and then invaded Frisia. A few generations later, and all of the British Isles are viking, as is Scandinavia, Germany and France.

Last I played, my dynasty had 10 Kingdoms under its belt, ruled by various cousins and uncles of the main branch.
