It is interesting how the fakest of things can offer such insight into their creator. This nothing of a human is so desperate for validation about the wasted hours they have spent editing a poorly drawn frog for the uncaring half laugh of strangers, that they invented a scenario where someone could show any interest. So detached from the world they can't imagine anyone that would care enough to talk to them, so they project interest onto the therapist they pay to speak with.

I prefer to believe all greentexts come from one person, even if that is blatantly unreasonable. It amuses me

[–] idunnololz@lemmy.world 23 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Yeah they are all from Anon

[–] Droechai@lemm.ee 4 points 7 months ago

Is he related to the hacker named Lim Fao?

[–] 9point6@lemmy.world 20 points 7 months ago

Yes! They actually do, Dr Greven Techt

[–] Facebones@reddthat.com 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

New hedcanon accepted.

I don't even understand the concept of "green text" other than they're 4chan posts lol.

Cause the text is green, it's just a shitposting form

Yeah, and that one person is Alex Jones.

It explains a lot, you know....

You're saying it's fake, is it also, perhaps, happy in an old timey way?

[–] Buttermilk@lemmy.ml 5 points 7 months ago (2 children)

No because every gay person I've met is infinitely cooler than any 4channer.

[–] starman2112@sh.itjust.works 6 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

Gay people may be cool, but when you need someone to produce six liters of their own piss at a moment's notice, then you'll see the value of a 4channer

[–] Jiggle_Physics@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

Why would I need a to seek out a 4channer for a service so easy to find?

[–] Zehzin@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago

To be fair so does every not gay person

I mean, if the author is, indeed, popular with their own original edits and content, they may be of a true interest to an anthropologist

No professional psych person ever anywhere would do their job for free I don't care how crazy or famous their patient is, they've seen worse. This session with anon was like having to clean the bathroom or fill out a TPS report.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 14 points 7 months ago (2 children)

I think its actually a big no-no to be charging patients for work you are planning on publishing. If they brought in other people to the session, chances are good they were looking into getting a grant.

There is very little published work on meme creators, especially right wing meme creators. If I was a psych and a volunteer Nazi propagandist outed themselves to me, I would have a certain thought in the back of my head. That thought being, "I might have just struck gold.

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 5 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Yeah but the people in this thread are clearly trained professionals, why else would they be speaking with such authority?

Surely they aren't just talking out of their asses? Right?

[–] trafficnab@lemmy.ca 5 points 7 months ago (2 children)

As a trained professional ass talker, I can confirm (with authority) that these people are not doing it

[–] Ragnarok314159@sopuli.xyz 2 points 7 months ago

May we ass you some questions? Don’t get too close, your breath is terrible.

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 1 points 7 months ago

Well shit, I guess that's that.

[–] Soulg@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Are we just assuming this guy is a right wing meme creator or were you just commenting that it's especially less known

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 3 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Most people in the Pepe the frog scene are far-right.

[–] Soulg@sh.itjust.works -1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

That is completely untrue. There's some, but they are in no way "most". That's frankly idiotic.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 2 points 7 months ago

You mean the people who hang out on a website mostly only used for spreading revenge porn aren't right wingers?

Huh, I had no idea.

[–] sir_pronoun@lemmy.world 13 points 7 months ago

How interesting! You know, we would be happy to cover the costs of our future conversations and hear you talk more often

[–] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 9 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Considering their pepe isn’t limited edition, I don’t think they actually edit images. Spot on, otherwise.

[–] sukhmel@programming.dev 1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Limited edition picture on the internet? Like NFT or something?

[–] Gullible@sh.itjust.works 2 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

It’s easier to show than tell. Look, just please don’t save it or I’ll have to delete mine. You seem the stand up sort or I wouldn’t trust you.

[–] sukhmel@programming.dev 2 points 7 months ago

Wow, and you're the 27ᵗʰ out of just 500 people on the planet to have it ⭐

"the patient shows an unhealthy obsession for frogs"

[–] JargonWagon@lemmy.world 13 points 7 months ago

"Fascinating" scribble scribble scribble

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 40 points 7 months ago (1 children)

But does the doc offer tendies?

[–] SeabassDan@lemmy.world 14 points 7 months ago

I believe it because he has the appropriate Pepe for the post, he wouldn't be an artiste if he couldn't even manage that.

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 8 points 7 months ago

I believe it. I feel it in my bones.
