They feel they've lost the "culture war" because Nike is pro BLM and Target has rainbows. There's no real analysis for this, it's all vibes. The "facts over feelings" crowd, folks.

Just found it's from 2014...

...don't know if that makes it worse or not.

Hi Friends,

I have an Ubuntu 22.04.3 server out in AWS that I can connect via Bitvise with no problems. However, when running any kind of command (ls, cat) the session hangs and restarts. The command goes through since when i reconnect, whatever task I put through is finished (I installed RT5) but now I can't edit files or anything.

Things I've tried: Made sure ICMP is enabled throughout my network and Security Group.; Also lowered the MTU on the server (default was 9001 and it's now 1422).

Here is a wireshark capture of when the DC occurs. Any thoughts on what this is? Any way to test where this breaks down?

I appreciate any help, thank you!

You joke (probably not), but I was once complaining to my group chat about getting stopped by my job in a "sting" type thing, saying I was on my phone (i wasnt and the thing was dropped). Anyway, my chud friend was so close, complaining how these traffic laws are just ways to suck money from.working people a lot of the time. However, his solution was something along the lines of remove traffic laws, make it harder to get licenses, this will separate the wheat from the chaffe, and the rest can get "bus passes with all the other knuckle draggers."

I was in complete awe at his stupidity and yeah, called him out on that dog whistle.

What I'm saying is, you're right... we'd never accept this lol

The Devil's Milkshake!

I'm on episode 4 of Blowback Se02. Growing up, I had the usual "Cuba bad" views...over the past few years I learned more...but listening to this...how do you not want to scream?! How do you deal with having friends and family who still buy into the bullshit. I remember asking my friend his thoughts on the fact Cuba has virtually zero homeless on any given night...his response? "They probably just shoot them..." How can Americans say this while believing they're not propagandized...I want to just start screaming Viva Fidel from a megaphone on my roof...

Free speech isn't some magic phrase that exists in a vacuum. All online communities have restrictions on what can be said (most basically, violent threats as an example). Say whatever you want, but be ready to accept those consequences.

Maybe this is a bad assumption, but I would guess you're from the US (like me). Our First Amendment protects our speech from "Government Interference" (still not totally true, but w/e). Free Speech doesn't mean consequence free speech in various spaces.

Regardless, you admitted earlier you're upset you can't use slurs so this is probably falling on deaf ears...

doesn't seem to tolerate basic slurs
