....this chart has Iraq and the US as FRIENDS? I know enough about that to know this chart is mainly wrong
It's just so reductive and silly!
Pretty sure this chart is pretty old, so presumably this was while Iraq was still directly occupied (i know that never really ended, but you get the point) and their government was literally just a translation service for the State Department and Department of War.
Oh yeah, that country that decimated iraq's infrastructure for a decade and caused untold human suffering and refuses to abandon its military occupation despite a formal government request? Best of allies.

You can tell the US is friends with Iraq based on how Iraq has demanded the US pull out their military forces but the US still has its military there.

I have felt many times like I had to create a version of this for all my radical friends.
They are trying to bullshit people away from us and our "friends" having a direct hand in arming and helping terrorists. That the media is not gaslighitng the public.
