They say you're nobody till somebody loves you

But you are somebody

Because I love you

This goes out to the very special person reading this, you

They say "is mean is" when Jesus says "this is my body" but I think that's reductive. You think "is" just fell out of a coconut tree? There's context that's far more important than splitting hairs on the semantics of "is" being a definitive statement. The Bible wasn't even written in freaking English! (moot point if you believe your preferred bible was divinely inspired in its writing). Jesus says that eating of the blood and body is signing onto the new covenant then states "I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” He says two verses later that its wine! Its wine people!

Trans mega means transubstantiation right?

On 9/11/01, 8 children died, all of whom were on the hijacked planes. Inside the towers and pentagon many people age 18 perished but no children. Christine died along with both her parents and 2 other children on United Flight 175, which struck the south tower. 175 is the flight famous for being captured on live television, striking 17 minutes after the first collision in the north tower

Christine was a bright, busy toddler who loved taking trips to the playground and helping her father in the garden. An attentive caretaker of her toys, she favored a stuffed Peter Rabbit character from the classic Beatrix Potter series. It was given to her by her grandmother, Eunice Hanson, in acknowledgement of Christine’s birth in the Chinese Year of the Rabbit. Peter Rabbit replaced Christine’s previously best-loved plaything: a red Teletubby acquired in infancy that “went everywhere with her,” Eunice Hanson recalls.

In 2014, both of these cherished keepsakes were entrusted to the 9/11 Memorial Museum by her grandparents, Eunice and Lee Hanson. Two Winnie the Pooh stickers that Christine placed on Peter Rabbit’s torso are still attached. “She put stickers on everything she liked; I suppose it was her mark of approval,” Eunice Hanson said.

Included in the Hanson’s gift to the Museum was a photograph of Christine celebrating her first birthday, with the word Peace incised on the picture frame. “The Peace frame containing Christine’s picture, taken in a traditional Korean outfit, is most poignant,” said Eunice Hanson. “That one word describes Christine’s parents, who were loving people and believed in kindness. I could ask volumes of questions why this happened to them, given who they were.”

In War, children are the most heart breaking victims. While those lost 9/11 cannot be brought back, you can do your part to prevent more families experiencing such heartbreak by donating to the International Red Cross Gaza relief program

"U.S. Customs volunteer firefighter Michael Saber drinks water from a fire hydrant in the rubble of the World Trade Center towers. (Yoni Brook for The Washington Post)"

I could find no information online about Saber or his story, other than a claim from a dubious Facebook page that he had passed. At present time, around 80,000 first responders and rescue crew from 9/11 are being monitored for health effects from the toxic dust on 9/11, at least 3000 are estimated to have died

Numbers on first responded health outcomes

In 2015 borders died at age 42, in over $200,000 of medical debt from cancer presumed to have originated from the toxic dust of the tower collapse

Marcy's story

"My supervisor thought a small jet plane might have nipped us. We had no idea what was going on. I began to panic. They tried to calm me down, told me to relax, take deep breaths, but the way the building was shaking, I couldn’t sit there. You felt the building shaking, you heard the explosion, you saw chairs coming out the windows, office supplies, what I know now were people"

Borders scrambled down the main staircase of the north tower, which by now was packed with hundreds of people trying to escape, many of them screaming. She passed many injured people, some with shards of glass and metal stuck in their flesh, others with burnt skulls. Fire officers came running up the stairs in the opposite direction, shouting: “Run, and don’t look back!”

It must have taken her about an hour to reach the bottom of the building. By the time she found her way to the exit, the south tower had been hit by the second plane and had just collapsed, at 9.59am, creating a dust cloud so large it could be detected by satellites in space. “I took chase from this cloud of dust and smoke that was following me,” Borders told the Journal. “Once it caught me it threw me on my hands and knees. Every time I inhaled my mouth filled up with it, I was choking. I was saying to myself out loud, I didn’t want to die, I didn’t want to die.”

When the cloud reached her, everything went silent and dark. She couldn’t see her hands in front of her face. She was grabbed by a man without a shirt and dragged into the lobby of a nearby building and into safety. There Stan Honda, a freelance photographer working for AFP, was also sheltering from the giant cloud of debris, snapping pictures of people as they came in.

Somehow, Borders managed to walk to the tip of Manhattan and make her way home on a ferry. Mechelle Taylor, who was living in the same apartment building at the time, vividly remembers her getting out of a cab outside their home when she arrived back. She was still covered in dust.

“She was shaken up,” Taylor said. “She kept saying how grateful she was to be alive, but she was bad. She saw such awful things. People jumping from the building.”

Marcy's struggle affording medication before her death

Last week, Borders completed the first phase of her treatment, chemotherapy. She'll undergo surgery in the second phase in early December, and then undergo radiation and chemotherapy in the third and final phase, she said.

She said she has already racked up $190,000 in medical bills that she can't pay, as she has neither a job nor health insurance.

"I try not to cry - $190,000 already and I still haven't had surgery, and I still need more chemo," Borders said, in tears.

"Why can't this be over?" she said. "I'm tired. I'm just tired."

Borders said she's now at a point where she can't even afford to fill her prescription medicine bottles, and that she only gets the minimum number of pills needed to get rid of her gas, her nausea and her pain.

"I take it when needed," she said. "I can't afford to take as it's prescribed."

At one point, she wondered aloud if her cancer was related to 9/11.

"I'm saying to myself 'Did this thing ignite cancer cells in me?'" she said. "I definitely believe it because I haven't had any illnesses. I don't have high blood pressure...high cholesterol, diabetes."

https://neildegrassetyson.com/letters/2001-09-12-the-horror-the-horror/

Excerpt from email sent the next dayWhen the first plane hit at 8:50, they evacuated the school without incident. I noticed WTC 1 on fire in a high floor upon returning from voting, about 8:55 AM. Large crowds of onlookers were gathering along the base of City Hall Park as countless fire engines, police cars, and ambulances screamed past.

I went home, grabbed my camcorder, went out to the street and started filming. I consider myself to be emotionally strong. What I bore witness to, however, was especially upsetting, with indelible images of horror that will not soon leave my mind.

  1. I first see WTC 1 on fire at a high floor. Not just flames coming out of some windows, but four or five entire floors on fire with smoke penetrating floors still higher.

Upsetting enough, but then…

  1. Among the papers and melted steel fragments fluttering to the ground, I notice that some debris was falling distinctly differently. These weren’t parts of the building that were falling. These were people, jumping from the windows, their bodies tumbling in rapid descent from the eightieth floor. I noticed about ten such falls, morbidly capturing three of them on tape.

Upsetting enough, but then…

  1. A fiery explosion burst forth from a corner of WTC 2 about two thirds of the way up, perhaps the 60th floor. The fireball created an intense radiative impulse of heat from which we all had to turn our heads. From my vantage point, I could not see the plane that caused it, which hit 180° on the other side of the building. Nor did I know at the time that a plane caused it. I first thought it was a bomb, but the explosion was not accompanied by the tell-tale acoustic shockwave that rattles windows. This was simply a low frequency rumble.

As it burst from the building’s corner, the fireball was so large that it extended all the way across to WTC 1. The fact the building’s corner exploded tells me that the ignited jet fuel got focused by the sides of the floor into which the second plane flew, meeting at the corner with increased explosive pressure. The flames were accompanied by countless thousands of sheets of paper that burst forth, fluttering to the ground as though every filing cabinet on multiple floors was emptied.

The fact that the second tower was now on fire made it clear to us all on the street that the first fire was no accident and that the WTC complex was under terrorist attack. Morbidly, I have the explosion on tape and the sounds from the horrified crowd surrounding me. At this point I stopped filming, and went back inside my apartment.

How could you miss 8 shots on a non moving target? Stupid motherfucker

In GTA V you can hold the preform action button to smoke a cigarette for longer and take a few good hits. In a car, you can smoke the same cigarette infinitely

In Red Dead Redemption 2 Arthur only takes one drag off cigarettes and even cigars before snuffing out

At worst, smoking may not even be in GTA VI. A core game play feature of 5 reduced down to nothing
