Yeah this. Like it didn't activate in the Falklands War for a bunch of reasons, but it would've had the USA wanted to bomb and overthrow Argentina's government.

Which they didn't as it was an anti-communist military junta.

But also the way many old words have lost their nuance and became merely synonyms to pad out an article. Like a score means 20. I would expect many scores of soldiers in any assault.

Watched the penultimate episode of the Acolyte, so the precipitant to all the conflict is “Jedi do Waco”

From what I've heard a lot of young people in the DPRK do watch pirated K-dramas and listen to K-Pop. Like it's in Korean, it's free due to piracy, easily accessed etc.

The government doesn't really care as its not going to turn their society capitalist magically like watching game of thrones won't make you a monarchist/feudalist. Plus until recently peaceful reunifucation was a big goal etc.

Similarly they watch Chinese dramas and listen to their music. There's a Korean-Minority so media/subtitiles/dubs made for that market.

I think I accidentally made Fallout 4's story better (admittedly not hard) with my alternative start. I did an escaped Synth. I made them the default looking female character and called them Nora. That said I have changed my hair, tattoos, scars etc during the game.

When I eventually got around the main quest, I find the body of Nora with the same recorded voice and features as my character dead in Vault 111. Kellog mistakes me for the dead Nora. I see her alive in his memories. Codsworth thinks I'm the old Nora. There's obviously cracks in the mod and dialogue where things become janky.

But the whole thing has become murky and ambiguous. Is my character a Synth? Does my character know that? Does the Institute Know this? Does Shaun know I'm the original or a Synth copy?

Given I'm Railroad and I'm infiltrating the Institue our dialogue suddenly becomes a game of intrigue. I'm trying to butter him up so I can work to sabotage them. Is he observing me as an experiment in turn or is it a weird dying man's attempt to resurrect his mother?

One of my favourite things is how artists in the past would portray historic events in paintings with anachronistic clothing, weapons and armour. As in stuff more contemporary (or if older still not ancient). Legionaries dressed as Condottieri etc.

We should apply that films/TV/games with no exposition or context. Just imagine a film about the 30 years war but giving everyone WW1 style uniform and gear.
