Not only do more Chinese citizens say they live in democracy than American citizens do the same, massive plurality of Chinese citizens believe so and the minority of USAians say the same. The USA is the undemocratic monster.

Do you, or anyone else reading, have a source for that for me to use in future arguments?

https://www.newsweek.com/most-china-call-their-nation-democracy-most-us-say-america-isnt-1711176

Edit: I should find a less shitty source but 1( don't have the time right now and 2) it's a double edged sword as if you find one that doesn't include obligatory china-bashing will be decried as a seeseepee mouthpiece

Appreciate it. And I think it's pretty good actually. It's got some obvious brain worms in it, but I also like to find lib sources because it's the only ones libs accept, and there's a lot of straight up numbers that can't be denied in there.

Harvard's Kennedy School has a study on government approval ratings in China that should be helpful.

Why use it, when you know the response is gonna be about indoctrination/propaganda?

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 9 points 5 months ago (1 children)

The Harvard one is good because it specifically accounts for that, so your next move can be the dreaded "Researchers have already anticipated and disproven your response."

Then they go into denial and dismiss the whole conversation lol
