why are implants not more of a thing? you get some pellets embedded subcutaneously every 3-6 months, get really steady hormone levels for the entire duration, and don't have to think about it otherwise. I know they're more of a thing for trans guys but estrogen pellets are a thing for cis women going through menopause so it's not like they don't exist. but insurance won't cover them and it's hard to find doctors who will do them for trans women. death to cissexism.
They can leave some big scars afaik

I've heard it kinda hurts
only if they give you lidocaine that hasn't been properly buffered. it's mostly painless otherwise. you mainly have to avoid putting pressure on the spot for 3-4 days but it's not that hard.
Ah okay. I kidna like the injections at the moment but I have considered the pellets
