Clothes for dudes basically comes down to t-shirts and trousers. And for shirts, one's mostly limited to brands, bands, and sports teams. Or, even fucking worse, some pithy comment like "not married and happy", or "have drink, me good", or whatever the feck people find clever these days. I oftentimes default to the H&M look, as it's the least corny looking style I see, and that's not saying much.

Women's clothes have all these cute tops with no shit written on it. There's more variation in colours and shape. You can mix it up by having a half top (whatever you call those). Don't want to wear a top and trousers that day, then wear a dress or a skirt.

Obviously the huge advantage of being a guy is that you can be ugly af, indeed I am an ugly fecking dude, and you're accepted. I assume it's harder for women in this regard, let me know if I'm wrong.

Cis women can wear mens clothes, cis men can wear women's clothing. Personally I find mens or androgynous clothing more comfortable and practical, but every now and again it is nice to wear a cute dress.

But yeah dudes look great in a cute dress. I wish it was more common.

I mean it used to be norm, I don't care if they called them robes or tunics or togas or kilts, that shit was nice.

I find women's clothing choices difficult for a different reason. There is style to be had (but I feel mens clothing has styles too, depending, I love greaser and punk fashion), for sure, but it is all very thin fabric and cheap and impractical. If you want to do anything other than sit still and look pretty, it can be frustrating. It can be hard to find women's clothing with simple things like pockets for example.

Also keep in mind that women had to fight very hard in the past to be able wear things like pants and other clothing considered "mens clothes" without being being sent to a doctor for "hysteria".

So maybe there will be a day where "women's clothing" is something that isn't gendered anymore in the same way pants are now. I hope so.

Fair enough. I forget this kinda thing.

True. It'll be a positive change.

I love my off the shoulder tops, but holy shit I wore one to wrangle my toddler at a soccer game last night and it was a mistake
