Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

Crazy, because aside from her skin color, she's definitely on board for all the fucked up things the right-wing is aiming to do. Racists, once again, are just dumb as hell.

If racists weren’t dumb as hell, they wouldn’t be racist.

Nothing’s dumber than hating people for something they didn’t choose and were born with (gender identity, sexuality, skin color…etc.)

Counting on other people's hate for your own gain, isn't that stupid unfortunately.

Or at least it can be quite profitable. See all the grifters in the space.

You just mixed up what they were referring to, the voting American public that has definitely shown many many signs of severe lack of education... And you are talking about the scam artists abusing that thickness.

Two different groups for people. But ye are totally in agreement.

[–] agressivelyPassive@feddit.de 1 points 3 months ago

I didn't mix it up, that was on purpose.

I saw someone comment that they need to get those people under control because Indians were compatible with the American lifestyle. I wasn't sure exactly what they meant but it did leave me wondering if the thought was "They know their place".

I think it might mean the caste system where certain people are kept at a certain level. The haves always have, and the have nots serve them.

If that's what they meant, then the irony is delicious.

Maybe they're saying all the Modi supporters are compatible with right-wing grift culture? I imagine they approve of Modi being all buddy-buddy with Putin, that's for sure.

[–] thedirtyknapkin@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

yeah, i think it's honestly lately because Trump likes modi.

if this weren't far right dumbasses i might think they were referring to the hyper patriarchal society and 50 years behind gender views that are common in that country, but i don't think they actually know anything about India. if they did, they'd probably be all about the arranged marriages and legal martial rape.

...it did leave me wondering if the thought was “They know their place”.

Looks like you figured it out to me.
