I understand "red fascist political movement" as standard .world idiocy, but everything after "ran" is a mystery

what the actual fuck was this person saying?

The only drug addicted deadbeat father who fled the country and that gets mad on twitter I know is Jordan Peterson.

here's my attempt at translation:

hexbear.net is a far left political movement whose leadership are racially mixed, hispanic, closeted homosexual furries, who are emotionally unstable after their father (who has addiction problems, doesn't pay child support, and fled the country to escape people who he owes money to) became irate after using the website formerly known as twitter, currently known as x.com

context: many headlines come from the posts of banned users or users in other instances complaining about hexbear

awwww man, that's kinda almost cute

idk about anyone else, but I think it would be a nice change if "dad mad at twitter" were the actual root of my emotional instability

catboy enthusiast

go on...

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 28 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The problem being is that like all bad insults, they keep going too long

A proper insult should fit within 10 - 15 words, tops

Clearly an example of Insult Overflow into Praise judging from the many comments here.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.

If "half Hispanic closeted gay catboy enthusiast" a reference to Nick Fuentes?

[–] keepcarrot@hexbear.net 18 points 1 year ago

That was my thought, which seems unlikely that he runs this site

Stereotypical gusano language every time elections come up in the states or elections don't go the way entitled brats who had to leave the plantation behind when they were 5 want.

powercry-2 My multi millionaire father who owns 10 gas stations and 5 cash only resturants is so depressed bad man wouldn't let him steal and exploit bad country. I could have been even more rich of a nepo baby if bad man didn't try to regulate my daddy and we would be kings back there instesd of well off crapitalists in burgerland.

OP was trying to project onto us in order to discount Hexbear from having valid opinions.

Average crack enjoyer

Is there some place where I can read all the taglines?

[–] kleeon@hexbear.net 12 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I have them but I don't know how to share them. Too much text for a comment. Pastebin doesn't work

It's 1531 taglines and ~200k of text

[–] citrussy_capybara@hexbear.net 9 points 1 year ago (2 children)

view source on homepage, line 6

[–] Edie@hexbear.net 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What does that look like? (I'm on android, can't check)

[–] citrussy_capybara@hexbear.net 6 points 1 year ago

worse than the link you put in the other comment since by default it doesn’t wrap text and the thousands of taglines have to be scrolled horizontally

but it technically counts as a place to read them all

Thank you!!

[–] the_itsb@hexbear.net 8 points 1 year ago (2 children)

This is a great question! I would love to know too, but idk who to even ask.

Works best with Firefox on desktop (collapse all, then open taglines), or Chromium on Android (enable pretty print): https://www.hexbear.net/api/v3/site

Thank you!!

They all used to be in a file in the source code of the website, but after scouring, I think that might have changed. If you go in a mega thread and ask you might get one of the folks who's helped work on the site to answer.
