Problem: They can’t attack policy disagreements because, as dumb as they are, even they know everyone hates Project 2025

[–] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 22 points 2 months ago (1 children)

If policy mattered to the gop, there would be no gop.

[–] Enkers@sh.itjust.works 20 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Now hold on there a second, policy does matter to the GOP. Those tax loopholes aren't just going to write themselves.

[–] xantoxis@lemmy.world 18 points 2 months ago

They have no policy and they believe in nothing. What else is there but the cocaine pile? "Hate these groups of people or we'll deport you" is basically the platform.

[–] InternetUser2012 17 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The only policy they care about is just vote no on everything the democrats do, and give tax breaks to the rich as fuck.

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (2 children)

I genuinely wonder what would happen if dems introduced a bill to cut taxes for the rich.

[–] whereisk@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

They’d support it quietly like they’ve done for many things in the past. You’d and 99% of the voting public would never hear about it unless you’re glued to the docket of the senate and the house.

They'd melt down

"WE HATE!! who is it now?"

"WE HATE OBAMA! What?"

"Yeah, But you said... Kamalala? Ok so we hate her now?"

"FUCK THAT BIT- What bro?"

"Well no, of course I don't need you to tell me why we hate her???"

"FUCK KAMILLA!!! She's a CRT that does DEI with the crooked FBI! She wants to make you into a jew-muslim-socialist-marxist and take your job and then force you to work in the secret Democrat immigrant kissing mines!!!"

[–] ulterno@lemmy.kde.social 12 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Yeah! Vote for OLED and LED backlit LCD!
No CRT in 2024!

[–] whoisearth@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 months ago

Ngl I'd love to degauss the planet right about now.

[–] kittenzrulz123@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 months ago

CRT is still the best way to play old games and watch old movies/shows

[–] Fizz@lemmy.nz 15 points 2 months ago

Republicans don't give a fuck about policy. They only pretend to care when they think they can attack Democrats over it.

[–] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Racists and misogynists gonna racimisogistinize.

I’ll see myself out

[–] OceanSoap@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 months ago

Tbf, there aren't any policies.

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

My theory is, it's going to get real bad just before election day.

[–] kofe@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That's my worry. I skipped the 2016 election largely because of that stupid fucking Comey announcement. I'll never skip another election and hope people are stupid enough to have forgotten the shit show that was his first term, but... Yeah. I got a bad feeling about whatever October or November surprise we'll get

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

Or December or January surprise. It won't be a surprise that it happens, but it might be a surprise who goes along with it and who doesn't.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

but but DEI is evil and will be the end of society

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (2 children)

I'm not defending the Republicans, but they are already expressing policy disagreements of Kamala by making an AI art of her as being a communist demon.

[–] lolcatnip@reddthat.com 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Is it really a policy disagreement if what they disagree with has nothing to do with her actual policies?

[–] TankovayaDiviziya@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Any equal wealth re-distribution policies for MAGA is communism to them.

[–] madcaesar@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

What wealth distribution policies? These are made up issues, created to rile up the maga morons.

[–] PugJesus@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Now I'm gonna vote for her even harder.
