Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). He already released a very thick and comprehensive binder of it. It had many pages. Some said, Sir this is the most pages we have every seen in a healthcare plan binder.

[–] nilloc@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 2 months ago

This page intentionally left black x 1500

[–] TimLovesTech@badatbeing.social 12 points 2 months ago

He is going to bundle it with infrastructure week!

[–] OhStopYellingAtMe@lemmy.world 104 points 2 months ago (1 children)

The same IVF that his running mate voted against protecting access to?

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 55 points 2 months ago (2 children)

i'd be surprised if those two chucklefucks even talk to each other

[–] Cadeillac@lemmy.world 16 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Have they actually been seen in the same place? I've not personally seen an image with the two of them, but I'm not looking either

Edit: They did campaign together

[–] linearchaos@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Would you imagine anyone wanting to talk to either of them?

[–] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 3 points 2 months ago

I can think of a few people... Maybe only a few dozen million, but they're out there.

[–] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world 73 points 2 months ago (1 children)

His ship is sinking. Here come the chicken-in-every-pot promises to try to stop the hemorrhaging.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 19 points 2 months ago

And the evangelicals are going to make him walk it back within days as well.

[–] Myxomatosis@lemmy.world 56 points 2 months ago (2 children)

Haven’t Republicans been attacking IVF and isn’t planned to be banned under Project 2025?

[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 20 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yes but Trump has been trying to distance from it by saying he might need to workshop some of it

[–] Myxomatosis@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago

Absolutely pathetic so par for the course for him.

[–] KoboldCoterie@pawb.social 15 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

The government will cover the costs of the zero IVF treatments that legally occur.

[–] OutlierBlue@lemmy.ca 28 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Because he prefers people who didn't get cancer.

[–] acetanilide@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

Well if you don't test for it then you won't have it. So there's no need to cover any treatment because it will no longer exist whenever Trump is ~~king~~ president

[–] Gimpydude@lemmynsfw.com 18 points 2 months ago

Because cancer isn't big in the news. He thinks this will improve his "ratings"

[–] grue@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago

Because he's pandering to the "quiverfull" and "great replacement" lunatics.

[–] linearchaos@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

Checks the GOP lobby card.

Yep, too much money in it...

[–] normalexit@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

Why cancer and why not everything we know how to treat?

[–] return2ozma@lemmy.world 39 points 2 months ago

Keyword "says". He's lying.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 22 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Maybe if Trump keeps saying progressive things. Kamala will copy some of those too

It's 2024 in American politics, crazier shit has happened

[–] paf0@lemmy.world 12 points 2 months ago

Maybe we could pay for it with Kamala's old Medicare for All plan or Mayor Pete's "Medicare for All Who Want It"?

Let's be clear though, Trump isn't going to do those things. He'll just say whatever it takes to stay out of prison.

[–] dirthawker0@lemmy.world 19 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] Lightor@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

No, no, no.

It's like Go Fund Me for health care, but we all put money into a single account and when someone needs it they just.... wait a minute....

[–] BigMacHole@lemm.ee 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

That SOUNDS like Socialism but its NOT because TRUMP said it! If Kamala said it it would be DEMOCRAT SOCIALISM INDOCTRINATING YOUR KIDS!

[–] garpujol@discuss.online 2 points 2 months ago

Republicans are like a cat chasing string. No offense to cats.

[–] MyOpinion@lemm.ee 15 points 2 months ago

Well you can't since it involves killing babies according to your wack job base.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

For those confused about how this jives with the GOP's general hatred of women, consider the following:

[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 14 points 2 months ago (1 children)

"Government or insurance companies"

... that sounds like socialism to me!

[–] TimLovesTech@badatbeing.social 4 points 2 months ago

He is giving insurance companies the choice, and for that reason they are going to pass.

[–] Lightor@lemmy.world 14 points 2 months ago

What happened to the "I don't want to pay for other people's health care" reasoning against Obamacare?

[–] CMDR_Horn@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Well once he bans it then the gov can spend unlimited amounts of money on 0

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Oh, is it opposite day again!? No wait, he is just trying to stay out of jail....
