I'm pretty sure the thing on the left is a Wolverine. There are definitely badgers in North America that look a lot like the one on the right.

The American Badger doesn't look like that but it is absolutely representative of how they act.

Thank you. The further I scrolled down the comments without a reference, the more uncomfortable I felt.

My exposure to these badgers was a "banana phone" music video, so I always hear that when I see them 🍌📱

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 19 points 1 week ago

Huh, a gif with sound. Now it won't stop.

[–] BearOfaTime@lemm.ee 17 points 1 week ago

And the bottom one applies more to the woman than the cat.

[–] Damage@feddit.it 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

One of them has war paint, the other got drenched while changing the car's oil

[–] SynopsisTantilize@lemm.ee 6 points 6 days ago

And the wife is yelling about dinner getting cold. He's got 10 bolts on the ground but has no idea why there are only 9 threaded holes for bolts. And hey wait....he's changing the oil, what could he possibly have taken 9 bolts off of.

[–] kerrigan778@lemmy.world 45 points 1 week ago (1 children)

To be clear, both will drag you into a back alley and pull a shiv on you though.

[–] finitebanjo@lemmy.world 2 points 6 days ago

And the American Badger is actually addicted to Meth as well.

[–] Stovetop@lemmy.world 35 points 1 week ago (4 children)

But what about the Honey Badger?

[–] happysplinter@lemmy.world 53 points 1 week ago

My understanding is that honey badgers care little for anything in particular.

[–] OpenStars@discuss.online 25 points 1 week ago

Honey badger does whatever it wants!

[–] jelloeater85@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago (2 children)

european badgers are the friendly ones from redwall abbey

[–] HexesofVexes@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago

Badger on the left just saw his healthcare bill. Badger on the right ate some bad beans and is contemplating the nature of regret.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 8 points 1 week ago

And Honey Badger just doesn't give a fuck.
