Does he have a food handler's card?

He's also not wearing a hair net.

He's not wearing gloves. Did he wash his hands first?

Someone should probably report that to the local health department.

It was a staged photo op and the restaurant was closed to customers. He didn't decide to do actual work for the first time in his life. It was BS like everything else. Nobody ate that food.

Oops it's the McDonald's in Feasterville and PA Health Department food safety complaint form, sorry I dropped this.

Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 criminal Felony charges, he couldn't get a job at that McDonalds

[–] espentan@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Lucky for him they aren't nearly as stringent with the background checks if you want to be president of the country.

[–] masterspace@lemmy.ca 65 points 1 month ago

Trump pretends like he's working a real job for once in his life, is immediately called out for not doing it right.

Ftfy.

...that was closed for business for his photo op.

No, he stood in front of it and took a picture awkwardly holding a piece of equipment he had never seen in his fucking life while silently praying to himself that anybody cared enough to vote for him.

Pathetic.

Dear Feasterville Community,

We plan to be closed on Sunday, October 20 until 4 p.m., to accommodate a visit at the request of former President Trump and his campaign.

While we are not a political organization, we proudly open our doors to everyone and as a locally owned and operated location, this visit provides a unique opportunity to shine a light on the positive impact of smal businesses here in Feasterville. We're equally honored to share the significance of what 1 in 8 Americans have experienced: that a job at McDonald's is more than just a job. It's a pathway to critical skills development and meaningful career opportunties. Having started my McDonald's journey as a crew member in New York nearty 30 years ago. this path to economic opportunity is especially meaningful to me.

I apologize for the inconvenience of closing our restaurant and sincerely look forward to serving you very soon.

- Derek Giacomantonio and my team at Feasterville McDonald's

This franchise owner has a lot of nerve… He wants to have his cake and eat it too. Hosting Donald Trump at your location for a staged photo op based on a manufactured controversy intended to mock Kamala Harris and anyone that’s ever worked a fast food job is as blatantly political as it gets. Fuck you, Derek.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 23 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Odd, they didn't close McD's in the past just because a President was around. Indeed, it was used for them to mingle with citizens and discuss the current topics of the day.

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Vance: they didn't close that donut shop for me, nor give me scripted goods and all the time I needed to facricate a lie, and that's why I fucked it up!

[–] ZeroCool@slrpnk.net 8 points 1 month ago

It’s a franchise location so the “small business” being referred to is DG Torresdale LLC not McDonalds Corp. There are plenty of things to criticize this prick for without having to resort to nitpicking an incredibly obnoxious but technically correct description of the business.

[–] Annoyed_Crabby@monyet.cc 2 points 1 month ago

Have you heard about our multimillion dollar small business

[–] EleventhHour@lemmy.world 24 points 1 month ago
[–] xmunk@sh.itjust.works 24 points 1 month ago

Ha, that fuck never even got close to the fryer. What a pathetic staged piece of bullshit.

[–] Linktank 16 points 1 month ago

Dump: "How much are you paying me?"

Shitty owner: "How much are you paying ME??"

Dump: Clearly annoyed

LOL

[–] KnitWit@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

At this point I hope this is a simulation. Some kid in the oververse is getting bored with their game of EarthRealm and they are just throwing crap at the sim until it fully tanks.

[–] SARGE@startrek.website 5 points 1 month ago

Why couldn't they have just gone with the traditional 47 earthquakes, 23 asteroids, 2 tsunamis, and an alien invasion like the rest of us? At least that's quick.

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Can you work in a kitchen and wear diapers?

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Yes, but he's got 100 other issues that disqualify him from a position at McDonald's

[–] DMCMNFIBFFF@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago
[–] n3m37h@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 month ago

Still under qualified for that job

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

'man' and trump shouldn't be used together, unless it's about trump being done by a group of men.

Even if he did, he fucked it up, didn't he?
