Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.
She's the heir of a multinational corporation. She's going to the wall.
Iirc pretty much everyone is a jerk to Goku, and then they become his friend, or they die and go to hell lol
Knocked the evil conqueror right outta him
Then he became God's greatest treasure: a himbo
I thought it was when he hit his head when he was a baby that he mellowed out.
Oh yeah, no you're right
Wait, is it canon that the thing that made him lose his memory was Bulma hitting him with a car and shooting him? That's so funny if true.
No, it happened earlier when he was a baby. Got hit on the head and turned good
Bulma hitting a kid with a car would eventually lead to that kid mastering Ultra Instinct, a technique difficult even for gods.
A Bulma-involved shooting preceded by a motor vehicle collision in the vicinity of a pedestrian
The alleged casualty was an 11 year old man who was waving a red weapon of some indeterminate nature nearby the home of someone with no familial relationship to them.
Look I'm just saying not once did Goku try to wish for no more racism
I'm not even sure the dragon ball earth has racism. The manga itself is pretty real-world-racist at times just in the art, but I don't remember any kind of in-universe racism until literal space alien Vegeta showed up with his Saiyan pride bullshit.
Earth is ruled by a dog monarch and everybody from humans to demons to dinosaurs seems to have pretty much equal standing in society

The art suffered from too much American influence, same with most of Osamu Tezuka's art (where he had blackface and some racist stuff about Africans, but at the same time Astroboy was an anti-racism manga). I think in DB they even had some black people in high positions both as villains and heroes but the designs were really bad. At least they added black character with better designs like Rulah
Yup, the designs were all I meant. Forget Mr. Popo, sometimes you see just a regular ass black man in a crowd in the background and you're like "oh man that should probably be illegal or something" lmao
I remember I read the chapter in which Rulah was introduced on release and I was very pleasantly surprised, good example
I like that you said earth because frieza saying monkey is too on the nose. Also you're just mad about my super saiyan swagger
well yeah there's a lot of racism in the broader universe, but by the time you're getting out there goku could probably solve racism with his fists more efficiently than with dragon ball wishes
Kakarot eats enough food to make galactus jealous while theres hunger in the world. He ain't solving shit. Then again I'm married to the briefs who could solve world hunger with their money several times over..........
When he was a kid he did stop a demon who wanted to enslave all non demons. Though that was more of a case that he was literally pure evil.
When you go into the universe and multiverse scale though, it's a racial caste system all the way up with the Kais. Though that's outside Shenron's powers, surely.

Countercounterpoint: this scene takes place like 17 in-universe years and 28 real world years after the arrival of the racist space alien

@vegeta1@hexbear.net knows how to pick 'em.
Damn right I do we share enmity towards Kakarot naturally. Soul mates
I first watched DBZ to completion and then decided to give the original dragon ball a watch; seeing her shoot at a kid in episode 1 was like BRUH
You can't shoot at kids on TV anymore, because of woke.
The woke mind virus has been spreading for decades. They wouldn't even air this episode of Pokémon outside of Japan back in '98
Still remember watching the heavily edited version of this on my local TV station at 5am
6 year old me was like "Wait... Goku? Bulma? This is just like that weird Dragon Power game I have on the NES"
I never managed to make it past that rabbit guy who could turn you into a carrot
Yeah that game was weird as fuck, I had it too.
I was wondering if the Bulma dub actor had done any other roles, and...no, apparently this was her first gig, she did it for a decade without doing anything else except a few minor characters, and then peaced out. The early English dub industry was wild.
