That's it.

Why is he wearing shoes on his hands?

[–] BigDiction@lemmy.world 8 points 23 hours ago

Essentially Sports is a made for advertising SEO gamer site. They don’t produce any significant content.

Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg not only is a media giant but also a sporting fanatic. While everyone is aware of his love for combat sports, only a few know about his interest in surfing. Like Meta has a knack for launching a new update every once in a while, its maker has a fondness for surfing treacherous waves intermittently. Interestingly, paddling into the ocean helps Zuckerberg stay focused.

Jesus. What a ham-handed PR piece. He has billions, but hires Temu PR for his humanization campaign. What a complete jackass.

[–] Vorticity@lemmy.world 11 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

They do appear to call him "The Eye of Sauron" so, maybe the person writing this wasn't really interested in making him look good and phoned it in.

[–] tektite@slrpnk.net 4 points 21 hours ago

They also call him Zukerberg at least twice.

What a ghoul

[–] vxx@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He really went hard on the sunblocker because everyone knows that lizards love the sun.

[–] Snowclone@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago

He thought it would make an insellable picture. He was wrong. He's gone the Madonna route, and wears the same clothes when he's not wanting to be photographed.

[–] DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world 67 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (14 children)

He tries so hard to be cool.

Why do billionaires NEED to be liked so badly? Is it because they don't trust that anyone in their life likes them for who they are, instead of their money? Maybe, it's because their own kids and wives hate them?

[–] andybytes@programming.dev 1 points 21 hours ago

Reflexive markets need faith....not good ideas or people.

[–] garbagebagel@lemmy.world 35 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Money can't fix self esteem.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Can get you saint hood if you housed millions.

[–] Okokimup@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

You can at least go to the medium place.

[–] Pnut@lemm.ee 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We can't imagine what it's like to be that obscenely wealthy. Logic would state that it works the other way too. They have very little concept of humanity in general. You and I would be the same if no one in the world could tell us "no". It's a form of psychosis, in my humble opinion.

[–] null_dot@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 3 hours ago

That's... weird to think about.

He probably thinks he's generally a "good" person, and making the world a better place, buy just that people misunderstand him. That's wild. Fuck I really want to know to what extent he actually believes this.

I guess being a billionaire would be quite isolating. It might feel like you're the only member of your species. There's primitive monkeys you can interact with and some of them pretend to like you, but none of them really feel you or care about you.

Rare photo indeed. He’s usually better at staying secluded after molting

[–] resipsaloquitur@lemm.ee 15 points 2 days ago

This is ridiculous. Lizard people don’t molt.

[–] MojoMcJojo@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

"In 2022, the Eye of Sauron opened up about the reasons he surfs every morning."

[–] samus12345@lemm.ee 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If he's the Eye, who's the Mouth? Musk?

[–] MojoMcJojo@lemmy.world 2 points 23 hours ago

Instead of Gandalf the grey there's Bernie the Blue

Zuckerberg surfs every morning right before he indulges in his complicated work algorithms, reports the New York Post. Now obviously being an IT giant comes with a casket full of responsibilities

Dressing up as a thicc Geosha Surfer every morning helps Zuck deal with his daily casket of problems.

[–] Ledericas@lemm.ee 2 points 22 hours ago

he puts on a new human synthetic mask on his android chassis everyday you mean

[–] FooBarrington@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (5 children)

complicated work algorithms

Pour more billions into VR!!!! ONE OF THESE DAYS IT HAS TO PAY OFF1!1!!

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 day ago

Whatever dude. They're complicated. You couldn't understand.

I expected to hear an older British man say: "And here, we can see the pale water lizard riding the waves, in hopes of finding friends. So far, the efforts have been in vain."

[–] Soku@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I know the voice I'm hearing it in

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 15 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Zinc really is excellent sunblock. Makes you look like a doofus and it gets absolutely everywhere, but you aren't sunburnt.

[–] termaxima@programming.dev 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We have micronised Zinc now, which blocks the sun exactly as well, but doesn’t make you look like V for Vendetta !

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

But it wears off. I can say that after a day of sailing with normal sunblock versus a day sailing with diaper cream you will notice a difference.
