I was looking up footage of the ICE LA thing the other day and about 2/3 comments are just "HELL YEAH! THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR! KICK THESE CRIMINALS OUT!"

Basically any local tv news broadcast is a hive of nazis. I think they are all coordinating with the police to get stories out quickly and the viewership is usually receptive to racist police perspectives, and the channel is happy to cater to that for ratings.
Any popular app has this problem. Instagram is even worse and so is Facebook with TikTok full of Andrew Tate brain rot.
As a social media manager for my org's local branches Instagram, don't get me started.
No Meta, I don't want to hear Peter Griffin saying "I hate n-words" for the 50th fucking time while a Family Guy clip plays. Instagram is like the anti-RedNote if that makes sense with how toxic It is. I hate that I was basically peer pressured to use It.
Bet half those comments are from bot farms as well.
The almost cookie cutter nature of the statements as if they got a template and started to write similar versions or exact copies all in around the same time period.

YouTube is genuinely worse than 4chan. Obviously it's going to depend on the channel and video. But on most vids, they like to pretend they're being "rational" or whatever the fuck while spouting off nazi shit. At least with 4chan, they're upfront about their chuddery.
Honestly it's like reddit in that someone will say some wrong, fucked up shit, and then someone else will come in and 'correct' them with different and just as wrong, fucked up shit, they will argue for abit, and then someone else will come in and be like "Hey now stop fighting, the truth is somewhere in the middle!". Bleh
My unsourced opinion is that people who have the time to write YouTube comments, and just in general have the time to post social media garbage, are people with petite bourgeois backgrounds. I imagine it's some fucking boomer in his McMansion in dickwad, Illinois.
Wikipedia editing has really beaten this into me. Some people have way more time to post bullshit than I do.
Same with the type of people who call into radio shows. Though you have plenty of working class chuds who waste what little free time they have getting mad over political articles
At least some of that is likely astroturfing from bot farms
There is nothing of value in that hive of scum. The only legacy or mark they leave on this earth is a skidmark.
How many are bots?
We are all under psychological warfare and using bots to make it seem that most people are fine with horrible behavior is part of it.
The purpose is to make it seem like most people are ok with it, so it looks like to you are almost alone with your opinions.
If you are interested in psyops in general, there is a lot of info online about the term. I think most people are not really aware of it. Some countries have psy-op agencies to influence public opinion, like USA and Russia and China.
