target the regional bases of any country that tries to defend it
Are they actually going to start hitting Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, US bases in Iraq and Syria? I would love this but it seems like biting off more than they can chew. There's a reason Russia doesn't hit Poland and Moldova and Romania despite NATO using those places as logistical hubs and barracks.
Iraq did say that they would do any measures necessary to restore sovereignty over their airspace. Syria might definitely be on the hit list. I doubt that is the case for the gulf states yet, because attacking them means losing the support of the rest of the world.
Its a last measure.
My guess is that they aren't going to start hitting them all at once if they go through with this. Also I would say that using Poland for logistics is about different than if Poland was being used to intercept Russian missiles.
I’d agree, and imagine this order of escalation will start with Jordan as a warning, followed by Syria. After that any next steps seem a bit too daring
I don't think they would attack Jordan because that could affect the standing of the local Palestinan population as well as affect relationships with the GCC. I think Syria is on the chopping block tho
I stayed up all night and called in sick. The situation must be monitored.
Oh also can't wait to get the shit beaten out of me by cops this weekend.
The Kings protest thing is going to get interesting. The libs on r/fauxmoi seemed positively pro-iran.
That's not the one I'll be at, it's specifically anti-ICE and at ICE facilities
Good. The actual important one.
The public in general is now anti Israel and doesn't want war. If I see one motherfucker with an Israel flag tomorrow I will spit in their direction. Im sure there will still be at least one Ukraine flag tho
bring an Iranian flag to the lib march and see what happens lmao
the average amerikkkan isnt going to recognize the flag i would bet
The labor movement created sick days for just such situations.
I wantch 1 hasan video on the subject and dab on a few nazis in the comments and suddenly there's another 100+ posts
Decades be happening
I have to go to sleep now, MAY I WAKE UP TO BLESSED NEWS!
Al Jazeera - "Can Israel thwart Iran’s nuclear programme?" - 30 minute video
It's 0.4GB so it's too big for Catbox. I don't know how to share it. I don't upload to any sites that require an account.
I'm about to watch it myself.
why not make an account on tankietube?
What's the upload size limit?
I set the daily upload limit to 50 GB, so effectively that.
🔴 Urgent:
🔺Iranian intelligence says it has thwarted a Mossad operation. A truck full of drones has been intercepted inside Iran.
🔺It is said that a drone pickup truck was caught in Zanjan and a Toyota Hilux with a cabin was caught in Kermanshah while transporting drones.
🔺We emphasize again: Dear people, be very sensitive to the movement of pickup trucks and trucks around you and report the reports to the police and security agencies (call numbers 113 and 114).

wisdom is learning from others' mistakes
Hopefully they have a fortified checkpoint at every road crossing into Iran right now. Networks of checkpoints will need to be set up.
Truck drover bout to become the most sus job in any conflict zone
One of many issues with using civilian transport for military devices
this isnt news, but my family has been sending videos of missiles and interceptors over their heads. obviously there is a real fear that a zionist interceptor could fall and hit them, like zionist interceptors have done in the past. but there is a real awe involved in all of what has happened today.
zionist jets shot down, possibly a high ranking zionist assassinated, and massive strikes into the heart of the entity. it really feels like a moment of joy for those of us who have had so much taken from our families at the hands of the entity.
this pales in comparison to what the entity has done to us, we wont rest until we are liberated with a right to return. but this really was needed for Palestinians
I’ve seen so many videos of the brave Palestinian people crying tears of joy and the takbir just watching the missiles fly overhead. It is so bittersweet to see horrible weapons and destruction of their own land be a peoples’ only hope. Inshallah the suffering will end soon and with minimal harm. Bless you and your family
Mouin Rabbani - 19h "It seems Israel is broadly pursuing the same approach to Iran..."
Note - It was a wall of text so I created clear paragraphs.
Full text
It seems Israel is broadly pursuing the same approach to Iran that it used last year against Hizballah in Lebanon: assassinate key leaders, eliminate key reservoirs of specialised/institutional knowledge, and degrade key capabilities at the very outset of the campaign in order to deal a decisive blow to the adversary. Although Hizballah was dealt severe blows and emerged significantly weakened, it was not defeated.
Its attacks on Israel continued and ceased only as the result of a ceasefire agreement, and it never deployed the most advanced and powerful weapons in its arsenal. It remains the most powerful armed force in Lebanon, is in the process of rebuilding, and is today constrained from resuming attacks against Israel primarily by domestic considerations rather than Israel (even if these domestic constraints can also be viewed as an outcome of the Israeli campaign).
Iran's disintegrating economy and significant domestic discontent notwithstanding, the Israeli approach is even less likely to work against a state, and one which has a much more powerful arsenal, relatively coherent institutions, and none of the constraints that hamper(ed) Hizballah. Under current circumstances, the prospect of an agreement with the United States and sanctions relief will play no part in Iranian calculations, because the Iranian leadership considers US complicity in the Israeli attack a given.
As in similar situations elsewhere, domestic critics and opponents can be expected to either rally in support of the state against foreign aggression or keep their counsel until the guns fall silent. The question is not if Iran will respond, but how. Particularly so given the ongoing nature of the Israeli campaign and the extent of Iranian resources that remain available for a significant response.
Iran is likely to have concluded that restraint only further whets the Israeli (and US appetite), and will be urged by many in the leadership to hit back hard. The question, in my view, is whether Iran will respond in a manner that seeks to minimise the prospect of direct US involvement, or believes it is also in its interest to deal a blow to US forces in the region on an assumption the latter are likely to become involved anyway.
I suspect that at this stage they will either avoid attacking US forces and focus on Israel, or send what they consider a shot against the bow towards the US. But what Iran views as a warning may be interpreted by Washington - encouraged by Israel - as a declaration of war. Fasten your seat belts.

Last para should read "shot across the bow".

In other news - thank god he finally makes long posts at Twitter instead of 1/37 stuff.
Has anyone seen any actual evidence of Israeli fighter jets getting shot down? So far all I've seen is old photos of Russian aircraft being shot down, AI images and dubious ejection footage. Please share if you have any.
Related - a thread of old footage and images that is being shared currently as new footage
