Image, and a considerable amount of the preamble's analysis, comes from this article in People's Dispatch.

A week ago, the Bolivian left-wing party, the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), currently led by Luis Arce, decisively lost the round of elections against the right-wing. This comes after a prolonged period of "infighting" between Arce, and Morales, who previously led the MAS prior to the 2019 coup which briefly installed Jeanine Anez.

I put infighting in quotes because despite the nominal similarities between Arce and Morales, it is clear that this is not merely a counterproductive battle between two men - instead, the Bolivian left has arrived at a time of unavoidable conflict between two competing strategies. The electoral strategy is represented by Arce, who has aligned himself with a more middle-class-oriented campaign that is more economically liberal, whereas Morales represents a more working-class-oriented campaign that seeks to go further than tepid reform.

Such a conflict between electoralism and revolutionary action is inevitable in any and every developing country that 1) possesses a functioning left-wing party or organization, and 2) is under internal and/or external pressure by capitalists. This crisis must be resolved eventually - and this electoral failure is how such a crisis is manifesting right now. So while the Bolivian left has indeed lost the election, it is not yet defeated. The revolutionary campaign can, if it is willing, still ultimately stand triumphant. But what must be done is a real movement towards socialism, which goes beyond technocrats reforming from above, and instead transforms the state into a full political project of the working class, in which their movements, organizations, and protests are genuinely empowered. Such a project will involve repression by the forces of reaction, not least by the United States, but it is the only road left to take.

Could you imagine the response if another country just killed the US's politicians every now and then? Like one day, Trump died, then Hegseth, then a couple months later Vance or John Thune or something. It's insane to me that the world just let's this rogue, fucking crazy and evil state run around and do thus.

The world will be a lot safer (long-term) after Israel and it's master, the US, fall and are replaced.

More than just the Prime Minister, a whole bunch of the civil government was assassinated. Multiple senior ministers, which Ansarallah/the Houthis aren't providing the exact names of, but public obituaries are available online. Israeli sources state that 10 Gabriel V cruise missiles (they call them "one ton missiles") launched from a Sa'ar 6-class corvette hit the main building in Sana'a, where all the ministers had gathered to celebrate the one year anniversary of the formation of the civil government, and watch their leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi's pre recorded speech on TV. While other gathering places were targeted by airstrikes at the same time.

Israel assassinated:

  • Prime Minister: Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi
  • Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister: Mohammed Qassem Al-Kibsi.
  • Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment: Muein Hashem Ahmed Al-Mahaqri
  • Minister of Information: Hashem Ahmed Abdulrahman Sharaf Al-Din.
  • Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs: Jamal Ahmed Ali Amer.
  • Minister of Youth and Sports: Dr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Mawlid.
  • Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water: Dr. Ali Saif Mohammed Hassan.
  • Vice Minister of Interior and former homeland security aide to Abdul-Malik al-Houthi: Abdul Majid Saghir Ahmad Al-Murtada.

The following ministers have been confirmed to have survived the assassination attempt:

  • Minister of Defense and Military Production: Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi.
  • Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs, Jalal Ali bin Ali Al-Rowaishan.
  • Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development: Dr. Khaled Hussein Saleh Al-Hawali.
  • Minister of Public Health and Environment: Dr. Ali Abdul Karim Ali Shaiban.
  • Minister of Education and Scientific Research: Hassan Abdullah Yahya Al-Sa'di
  • Chief of Staff for Ansarallah: Mohammed Abdulkarim al-Ghamari.

It is also likely that other civil and military officials were assassinated or wounded. However that is speculation at this time.

It is uncanny how good the zionist intelligence is.

They were able to bomb the bunker the Iranian president and command staff were in and only didn't target the supreme leader because he went totally off grid and not even the military or civilian leadership were able to find or contact him. They found and bombed Nasrallah's bunker and killed him. They've successfully killed most of Hamas senior leadership as they existed at the start of Oct 7th. And now this.

How do they do this? I get having deep penetration of a society like Lebanon because you've been at war with them for decades and plan to destroy them eventually anyways. I get the Gaza situation because of starvation, deprivation, turn-coats, blackmail networks. But how do they do this in Yemen? It really must involve signals intelligence and extensive hacking campaigns of an unprecedentedly sophisticated level.

The axis of resistance is going to continue to struggle as long as they can do these highly effective decapitating strikes.

[–] MarmiteLover123@hexbear.net 27 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

It comes down to control of the skies. There was a rudimentary but still capable (at least for shooting down UAVs) air defence network in Yemen, which the United States heavily damaged earlier this year. This is what allows Israel to conduct such operations now with near impunity in Yemen's skies. Also, the use of smaller Israeli Navy warships, which Ansarallah in Yemen can't seem to track in the same way that they could track a US Navy Carrier Strike Group, allows for the launch of cruise missiles at virtually any time.

[–] Lovely_sombrero@hexbear.net 43 points 1 day ago

An abundance of traitors and also most of these governments try to work with international institutions. Israel was able to kill Iranian civilian nuclear scientists in their homes with their families because the IAEA leaked the info to them. Working with the IAEA and following the nuclear deal was a huge mistake for Iran.

[–] CyborgMarx@hexbear.net 44 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It's less that zionist intelligence is competent and more the fact there are several highly ranked traitors within the leadership of the Axis

This flows directly from the fact none of these orgs are socialist in nature and infested with capitalist mindsets, making them infinitely vulnerable to monied penetration, socialist orgs aren't immune but there's simply more buffer, as the inherent nature of socialist organizing repels people with severe lumpenprole character

A single well-placed 100,000 dollar bribe can lead to the deaths of dozens, western intelligence doesn't need skill or operational vision to pull this off, simply flood the communication networks of the axis with dozens/hundreds of offers worth millions

[–] Gucci_Minh@hexbear.net 34 points 1 day ago

Don't forget the Saudi, UAE, Egyptian, Qatari, Jordanian etc etc etc collaborators and kapos who help with the process.

[–] HoiPolloi@hexbear.net 38 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Israel is the west's testing ground for surveillance tech. They probably have the best intelligence in the world. Not to mention the US share practically everything they know with the Israelis

On the other hand, I'm also surprised that the resistance can still fight after all these decapitation strikes. It makes me doubt if decapitation strikes even work.

[–] jack@hexbear.net 32 points 1 day ago

It makes me doubt if decapitation strikes even work.

They don't, because even exceptional leaders are not as important as the structure of leadership. If that structure is built with the ability to develop leadership, then you can dynamically replace your losses with minimal disruption.

Of course, the intelligence failyre is still an enormous weakness.

Rare Props to Zelensky ,

He was under enorm Pressure from the (godless) West to Send the last intact Bracket of the Ukrainian Society to the slaughterhouse the 18-27 year olds (might be even just 18-22) .. and now he has even opend the Borders for them so they all currently "get the fuck out" , thereby ending this hole topic once and for all ..

[–] OnlyTrueLiberal@hexbear.net 46 points 1 day ago

Pretty sure he did this to stop under 18 olds from escaping the country while they still can. Also there propably wasnt that many 18 to 21 year old males remaining since they could have left during 3 years of war if they wanted to escape the draft. Also these age bracket werent that big to begin with due to the disaster of the fall of USSR.

Wow its been going for over 3 years now.

Axios: Scoop: White House believes Europe secretly undoing Ukraine war's end

Some people are going to eat this up, but it's literally what the US State Department wants you (and Russia) to believe. I bet this so-called "scoop" was deliberately planted in the media by them.

Europe has zero independence. They are doing exactly what the US tells them to, which is to bump up their military spending and keep the Ukraine war going for as long as possible, while the US shifts its focus elsewhere. It's all "division of labor" and "strategic sequencing," as Brian Berletic has been harping about.

A Hexbear fav makes a return.

Doesn't get any richer. Former self-proclaimed "interim president" Juan Guaidó, now living off of stolen Venezuelan money in some fancy condo in Florida, still pretends he speaks on behalf of the Venezuelan people. Where does the US even find these muppets?

Juan Guaido: "Venezuelans also recognize the effort to bring fugitive Maduro to justice. This targets Maduro and is an operation against organized crime, not against Venezuela or its citizens. It was Maduro who violated sovereignty by stealing another election on June 28."

[–] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 10 points 1 day ago

He's getting virtually zero engagement on his shitter posts lol. So Juanover.

[–] Redcuban1959@hexbear.net 46 points 1 day ago

I like how not even the US know who they fuck they recognize in Venezuela, they don't even remember Edmundo Gonzalez anymore lol.

Cuban president begins Asian tour of Vietnam, China, and Laos - Prensa Latina

Article

Havana, Aug. 30 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has begun a tour of Asian countries that will take him to Vietnam, China, and Laos to accept invitations extended by his counterparts, the Presidency reported today.

According to the statement, the president will participate in events marking the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of independence and founding of the then Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

As part of the agenda, the Cuban president will meet with the main authorities of these countries and visit places of political and economic interest.

The visits to Vietnam and China are of special significance, as they take place in the context of the 65th anniversary of the historic relations of brotherhood, solidarity, and cooperation between our countries, the source said.

The meeting with Laotian authorities, the statement said, will reaffirm the priority Cuba attaches to fraternal and friendly relations with that brotherly and socialist country.

The tour will promote the development of bilateral cooperation with these sister nations, the implementation of existing agreements, and accelerate the joint construction of the Cuba-China Community of Shared Future.

The delegation is composed of Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, Central Committee member and head of the Communist Party's International Relations Department Emilio Lozada, and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga.

Yesterday a friend of mine texted me a job offer he saw on Linkedin: A position for an "Expert on large-caliber automatic weapons" is open in... the Ukrainian Military, tactical knowledge and tasks are required as well (meaning the bozo who takes the post will get drone'd). The pay is around 1,100USD to 2,600USD, you will get to work "officially for the Ukrainian Armed Forces".

The issue? Apart from the obvious thing that the Ukrainian MoD is recruiting on Linkedin.., this job offer is for argentinians lmao. It was posted two months ago and it's still open to this day.

Ukraine is really pushing hard for south american mercenaries... so far only a few argentinians have travelled there to fight (about a dozen or two iirc), the vast majority are colombians. And while this might seem like a specialist role position, who knows what they can come up with in the future. Also, that pay is VERY good for south american levels. They prey on our low wages, as well as the general sentiment of "nothing to lose" for easy recruits.

Yes, they also have attempted to recruit some Central Americans and Mexicans (The Cuban goverment was notified by Russia about this, iirc). I don't believe theres a single english article on how Ukraine has, since 2014, trained and armed a bunch of far-right neonazis latinos, specially in South America. I vaguely remember a radical group of Bolsonaro supporters saying they wanted to "Ukranize" Brazil and that they were inspired by Azov, there were other smaller groups in Bolivia and Venezuela, specially around 2018 - 2020.

New gusano destination just dropped?!

[–] darkcalling@hexbear.net 26 points 1 day ago

Yeah that's the worrying thing about this. Ukraine is allowing them to create tendrils of trained, battle-hardened fascist paramilitaries with contacts with others around the world for the CIA to use in the coming years and decades for all kinds of mischief all around the world. It's bringing together all the scum, radicalizing them further into reactionary politics, training them, giving them contacts and even after Ukraine ends these people will be carrying out coups, color revolutions, Maidan type false flags, etc for several decades to come in Latin America, in Africa, in Europe potentially, in Asia, etc. Even as the US loses one pawn it positions itself and builds a wider network for the next phase globally.

[–] miz@hexbear.net 27 points 1 day ago (8 children)

The pay is around 1,100USD to 2,600USD

per day it's too much for them too offer
per week could be plausible
per month this is bullshit wages for getting FPV drone'd

[–] CarmineCatboy2@hexbear.net 25 points 1 day ago

In Brazil they were offering 5k USD per month and that's life changing money.

[–] Torenico@hexbear.net 30 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Oh I forgot to say it was monthly pay, which for south american standards is much better than what you can normally get here.

You think the Housecleaning has Started in Ukraine ?

Guy seems to have been the Intermediator beetween the Faschist Blackshirts and the Goverment so thats a pretty high profile Assasination

Could be CIA cleaning out, Could be the Ukrainian Army killing the hardliniers , Could be russia approving new Target banks.. Could be even Zelensky trying to get breething room , could be Lone wolf..

[–] darkcalling@hexbear.net 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don't think the Russians would kill him because he's a key witness to atrocities and subterfuge that could prove or provide evidence (even unwittingly in memoirs or friendly interviews) that would further Russia's case of Maidan definitively being a color revolution by the US. Frankly removing him from the picture this late after the Nazi coup, after the total take-over of government wouldn't help them.

On the other hand the CIA would really want to prevent him blabbing about and establishing more hard links to US color revolutions and support apparatus and the SBU would kill him on their orders or to tie off a loose end of their own for the afterwar period to prevent any real justice or establishing of facts and leave it a he said she said situation between Ukraine, Russia, and the west as to Maidan/2014 and all that followed. Ukraine is losing so doing this kind of work to prevent accountability, spare those who are currently more hidden who were part of the apparatus by cutting off the visible parts makes most sense.

Beyond that Zelensky doing things to remove threats who might want to kill him for losing and/or support the bandarite hardliner faction in the elections is also a plausible motive.

I just don't think the Russians have a reason at this late stage to do that when they're finally winning and there might be a reckoning and a lot of these freaks will be blabbing about how the fall of the reich was not their fault and how great they were at the start doing all these other things and others are to blame.

There's so many possibilities it's really hard to judge. There's thousands of reasons people would want to kill this guy.

The only thing that does strike me is that he was shot 8 times. That almost seems personal for a shooting that was carried out the same way the United Healthcare one occurred with just 3 shots.

Perhaps I'm wrong and it's indicative of "shoot until the target stops moving" style of training?

[–] WeedReference420@hexbear.net 24 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I know sometimes operator types shoot people a lot in assassinations in order to ensure the target is definitely dead (operators generally being lunatics also probably factors in too, let's be real) but equally I could also buy the shooter being personally pissed off, as you say there's thousands of reasons so you can't really rule anything out.

[–] ThomasMuentzner@hexbear.net 21 points 1 day ago

Zelensky has also allowed its last Reserves of Drone futter (18-22 year olds) to leave the Country instead of Forcfully conscripting them .. Now a Hardliner got got..

🇾🇪 Yemeni Presidency: — In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vow by death, and some are still waiting, and they have not changed their commitment in the least." This is the truth of Allah Almighty.

In triumph for the oppression of the Palestinian people, Yemen waged the battle of the Promised Conquest and the Sacred Jihad, achieving great honor and offering convoys of martyrs from the heroes of the Armed Forces and other sons of the great Yemeni people who carried the banner and pledged to Allah to remain steadfast in truth, no matter the cost.

Today, amidst the open battle with the "israeli" enemy entity, we announce to our people and nation a new constellation of great martyrs from the national leaders who represent the Yemeni people in all its spectrums. We declare the martyrdom of the fighter Ahmed Ghalib Al-Rahawi, Prime Minister in the Government of Change and Construction, along with a number of his fellow ministers. The criminal, treacherous "israeli" enemy targeted them in a regular workshop held by the government to evaluate its activities and performance during a year of its work. Others of their companions were also wounded with moderate and serious injuries and are under medical care. This occurred on Thursday afternoon, the fifth of Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH.

We reassure our great Yemeni people and pledge to them that the government, with the help of Allah Almighty, will fulfill its role in the framework of managing affairs, and institutions will continue to provide their services to the steadfast, patient, struggling Yemeni people. It will not be affected, no matter the extent of the calamity... and the blood of the great martyrs will be fuel and motivation to continue on the same path.

We affirm to our great Yemeni people, to the oppressed Palestinian people, to all the sons of our nation, and to all free people in the world, that we continue our authentic stance in supporting and aiding the people of Gaza, and in building our armed forces and developing their capabilities to face all challenges and dangers, just as our great Yemeni people are present in all fields and arenas with all determination, will, and faith.

Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return, and Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

Immortality and mercy for the martyrs. And healing for the wounded And freedom for the prisoners And glory and victory for our dear people and for all the free people of the nation. 7 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH August 30, 2025

In response

Someone shot and killed a former chairman of the Ukrainian parliament in Lviv. The target, Andriy Parubiy, has been in a handful of different right wing parties including the social-nationalist party, so good riddance to him.

Nothing publicly know about the attacker yet beside that he was riding a bike.

This Nazi scum was one of the direct organizers of the Odessa massacre, and during the Maidan riots he was seen transporting rifles and coordinating militants at the building from where the infamous February 20 snipers started firing into the crowd.
