It's an artifact from the Cold War. The Soviets put money into the military and so did America but the Soviets added bodies and machines with their spending. America's military used the money to fund far out ideas.

But that also gave America the impression that far out thinking was the norm. The extra lengths Americans went to embrace their dreams meant things cost more but it was okay because they lived in an era of abundance. But that time has passed and the cost of that older lifestyle is no longer sustainable. We're witnessing the shrinking of Anglosphere prosperity as it mirrors America. When each country hits bottom they will be forced to adopt more cost effective urban planning with transit to suit folks who don't own cars. It's just a matter of time.

The reason they want emails is because the phone calls are slowing the call center SLA to a crawl and tanking their metrics for the quarter. If this keeps up, the payment processor will push back next time and Christian authoritarians won't be able to get away with shenanigans like this again.

They probably have their customer support laid out as phone, email, and maybe chat. Phone is the most expensive support channel because it's 1 person to 1 problem and it's impossible to scale, so they can't roll out a bot or ignore the metrics for long. Keep up the pressure!

What drone uses 14A chips? Most drones use chips from a decade ago because they are cheap and numerous.

Oh man, wok cooking is almost exclusively the realm of propane. Can a wood fire get hot enough for wok hei?

Oh, I didn't realize a forge also melted. I thought the primary melting was done in a crucible then poured into a form to be forged. Thanks for clarifying!

Forge gives something shape. This is a cheese crucible.

The funny thing about duck penis is that it's uniquely capable of a corkscrew uppercut.
