MODERATORS

  • I hate him, but I am only voting Trump because my taxes and HOA keep going up.
  • The democrats went too hard on the whole free Palestine crap, Israel has a right to defend itself
  • democrats care more about illegal immigrants than me
  • all the protesters and homeless are scary
  • after this election, prices will go back to normal
  • we need someone who is tough on crime
  • after the vaccine mandate I just don’t want to vote for someone that wants to control my body (a woman who is undergoing IVF)

Great job finding a base that has no intention of supporting you Democrats, you are gonna get smoked this November. Homeowners are majority dumber than rocks and conservatives.

If I could have one superpower I think it would be the power to allow white chuds to switch places with these illegal immigrants, no take backsies.

They think they're getting a government credit card with no limit they don't ever have to pay back so they can lounge around doing ehateber they want and cashing 5 figure welfare checks. And instead they end up working 16 hour shifts for $4/hr in a slaughterhouse in the Midwest before being harassed by cops 4 times a week on their commutes.

The American WASP might be the most privellaged class in the history of the entire world. And they use the fact they can do literally anything without consequence to fan the flames of their victim complex.

the power to allow white chuds

I'd prefer you get the power to require white chuds to do if we've already magically filtered the chuds out

wouldn't it be better if they could go back and let their like minded friends know about reality?

[–] TheLepidopterists@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago

No like minded friends left, we're swapping the lot of them

[–] SchillMenaker@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago

I'd rather have them switch places with rocks at the bottom of the ocean.

[–] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 weeks ago

You suggest something like that to them, or a similar idea with the homeless, suddenly they have a million excuses as to why they can't. They say this stuff, but don't really believe it. Their problem isn't that they think that the dems are giving a bunch of free stuff to "illegals" but rather that the democrats aren't going full nazi on them enough.

Undocumented immigrants, but, yeah, that'd be fun.

the idea that the president has any impact on HOA fees is fucking hilarious

Death to America

[–] TheDoctor@hexbear.net 36 points 2 weeks ago

“Quick! List the first things that come to mind for how inflation has negatively affected you!”

“Uhhh oh shit uhhh well HOA fees are definitely up there”

These people live in a different fucking reality

after this election, prices will go back to normal

Lmao fucking pipe dream. Idk how people haven’t figured out things are never getting better for us again until politicians are afraid for their lives

Here's a hot take:

Someone said "people tend to vote for the party/people they think have done the most to improve their material conditions". If you look at the usa, neither party has done shit for the average person in a very long time.

So how then do people decide how to vote? Vibes and conspiracy theories.

[–] Parzivus@hexbear.net 25 points 2 weeks ago

Almost every US election comes down to how well the economy did in the last four years. We get to play ping pong between parties because things just keep getting more expensive

Lots of folks around me complain about their living expenses rising, but seem to put undue importance on the fact that a lot of landlords around here are immigrants. They're just one step away from saying "I have no problem giving upwards of 1/3 of my income to a stranger who does fuck all for me, as long as they're white."

Another reason I don’t believe Democrats will make Republicans obsolete by “becoming them.” Politics in America are all about the brand. The Democrats are seen as big on social Justice and every left-leaning protest you see is going to be blamed on them no matter how hard they disavow them.

The Dems could say “fuck those queers” and Republican voters will still associate them with lgbt as long as queer protesters and activists continue to insist that voting Dem is best for them.

Shit, Democrats have gone hard against illegals and yet they’re still seen as soft on immigration with activists again insisting they you must vote Kamala to decrease your chances of deportation.

Edit: that’s not mentioning that culture issues will continue to be prominent with the amount of conditioning for it that zoomers and gen alpha have been getting with social media like YouTube.

Abolish the suburbs

[–] ChaosMaterialist@hexbear.net 17 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Trump's 2017 tax breaks for "the poors" were designed to phase out throughout the 2020s, but no voter actually knows this. Both top-cop and trump-anguish are talking about extending them, but nobody knows about that either.

I swear to sicko-satan why do I bother knowing any policy instead of being a blissfully ignorant himbo?

[–] Dr_Gabriel_Aby@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago

Yea I know, literally every suburbanite tells me the Dems need to be more moderate than they already are and since Biden won I just hold my tongue.

It’s all vibes and no ideology for 95% of Americans.

Genuinely starting to think comedy podcasts/stand up is how most people get their opinions

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 17 points 2 weeks ago

Lmao @ the Palestine thing, democrats aren't even acknowledging Palestinians.

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 17 points 2 weeks ago

I have mastered the art of material analysis and can now say the following: owning a home in a system where housing is a commodity inevitably drives one towards fascism.

To be fair, that one guy is probably right about me caring more about illegal immigrants than him

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 2 points 2 weeks ago

I don't know him but I already care about him less.

Kamala's downfall will be not being progressive enough. She instead keeps trying to appeal to the right the whole time

[–] Barx@hexbear.net 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

And being complicit in genocide.

Democrats are going too hard for Palestine? Seriously?
