Butter flavoured syrup

What

That garbage is literally oil and corn syrup.

Yes I'm aware that real maple syrup costs 3x the price, but for the love of everything good in this world, have at least some self-respect. Some things are worth splurging on, no matter your income bracket.

Chicken and waffles, but we ran out if waffles and made pancakes, and also we ran out of baking powder and made crepes.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

I'm pretty sure one of them is an Eggo, which can not legally be called a waffle in countries with pride.

The M&Ms really ties the whole meal together

[–] rothaine@lemm.ee 5 points 2 weeks ago

Lol I have done this. With real Vermont maple syrup though. I don't cheap out on syrup

[–] JoMiran@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 weeks ago

Are people really out here eating like this? I'd feel so bloated and carb loaded if I ate something like this.

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You are weak, and your bloodline is weak.

[–] Kit@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 2 weeks ago

Someday you'll be old too. It's like I woke up one day and my body decided that I can only eat healthy food or suffer major consequences.

[–] turbowafflz@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

To be fair it looks a little good

[–] beastlykings@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago

Right? I'm seriously going to do this. I have a big bag of frozen nuggets in the freezer for part of my quick breakfasts, and just add water pancake mix in the cupboard.. why haven't I done this yet?

[–] NegativeLookBehind@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Are you ok OP? This is S tier awful

[–] Rampsquatch@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

Fuck, I could go for some of that right now.

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Out west, we have a chicken gravy on the side with an equal measure of syrup.

[–] frazorth@feddit.uk 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

What would you consider "chicken gravy" in this scenario?

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The part on many of the chicken and waffle dishes that say "smothered in chicken and onion gravy"?

[–] frazorth@feddit.uk 2 points 2 weeks ago

Oh, sorry! You commented and linked as if it were something regional, and I wondered whether it was due to an alternative style of gravy that you had.

If it's just thickened chicken stock and onions, then thats awesome too.

[–] Gork@lemm.ee 2 points 2 weeks ago

Dino shaped just hits better.

[–] henfredemars@infosec.pub 1 points 2 weeks ago

Hey, I would eat this and be happy with it.
