Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

Yeah the measles vaccine is a black box, it’s not like a five second google search will bring up its ingredients.

"Corrupt grand vizier of the court tells poor peasant family that their child is in a better place now that they've died rather than trouble the king with their problems"

no-fash

Butler recounted a story told him by an unnamed friend who had been taken by Mussolini for a high-speed automobile ride through the Italian countryside, in the course of which the dictator ran down a child and did not bother even to slow down: "My friend screamed as the child's body was crushed under the wheels of the machine. Mussolini put a hand on my friend's knee. 'It was only one life,' he told my friend. 'What is one life in the affairs of a State.'"

Experimental wormgun prototype, tested subject RFK, partial success.

[–] btbt@hexbear.net 26 points 1 week ago

I’m pretty sure that what’s in the vaccine is a way to stop your kid from getting measles

I'm generally opposed to the death penalty as punitive retribution by the State, but this guy is one of the easiest exceptions and frankly makes an argument for Nine familial exterminations

because if someone related to me, that I could reasonably get to, was doing this and had been doing this for this long, I woulda got 'em by now. .. to spare the world of their depraved indifference to life and my people the shame of being associated with it.

fuck this plague lord.

I advise him to stop using everything that he doesn't know the exact contents of.

That would mean the air as well. You only know what should be there, you don't know what other chemicals are floating about in any given room you enter. You should think of your safety Mr Kennedy, stop breathing!

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 10 points 1 week ago

Your stomach is full of unaccountable, unidentified bacteria! Foreign bodies by the billion! Mr Kennedy sir, you must remove it at once, for the safety of the nation!

FRQ farquaad-point "Some of you may die, but that's a price I'm willing to make."

This little person represents a major setback for public health.

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 17 points 1 week ago

What major setback? As Americans, we have the best healthcare system in the world (citation: some politician). Also, our healthcare system is completely broken (citation: same politician). It is obviously the access to medical care and the reliance on medical care that are driving every issue in our country. So, now that our health system is malicious and unreliable, it's... better?

I was gonna say "/s," but I've forgotten how to reality.

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 10 points 1 week ago

You don't know how it feels to be me but it's

you don't know what's in

the vacciiiiiiiiiiiine

[–] MrSulu@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 week ago

Everything in the vaccine is known, tested, regulated, documented, tracked. Clinical trials established safety, numbers needed to prevent harm, side effects fully profiled and once it passed all the licencing tests, remains subject to ong term safety monitoring. But yeah, why not ignore the homework that COULD be done and highlighted, and instead keep just treating it like the Colnels secret recipe.

I don't think Lil' Bobby knows either

[–] Doctor_Satan@lemm.ee 6 points 1 week ago

Motherfucker, you don't know what's in diet Coke, but you don't seem to care about your boss chugging 50 of those a day.

[–] DragonBallZinn@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago

It’s honestly disgusting how they repay their most dedicated loyalists.

The bourgeoisie are the last people to deserve the American working class’ generosity.

[–] ClassIsOver@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I wish there a way to typographically express the sound of his voice, because just saying "You don't know what's in the vaccine" unfairly launders the sound of live cockroaches crawling on his vocal cords.

[–] Doctor_Satan@lemm.ee 2 points 1 week ago

It's called spasmodic dysphonia. Same thing Darryl McDaniels has (the D in Run DMC). I hate RFK Jr, but I can't bring myself to make fun of him for this infliction. Though I'm pretty sure the sound of his voice would be like a cheese grater across my brain regardless of his medical condition.

A long time ago there'd be situations where I'd be stuck traveling or otherwise sitting in a place for hours and I'd grab these 5$ Warhammer 40K paperbacks from a little shop.

There's this image that was described in one of the books during the seige of a planet. Chaos Titans were stomping around a battlefield while lines of chained prisoners taken from other battles were drug under the footfalls of the enormous mechs. Nothing but needless slaughter that did not register at all to the giant machines.

Not sure why I suddenly remembered that...
