Pokemon Go to the polls and turn a blind eye to the most blatant genocide seen this century so-true

[–] ClimateChangeAnxiety@hexbear.net 57 points 7 months ago (4 children)

I genuinely, deeply, do not understand why anyone lets her speak on these things. I’m honestly very surprised that she wasn’t kicked out of Democrat inner circles for being such a fucking loser and just for sucking.

She is quite literally the least qualified person on Earth to give advice on beating Donald Trump in an election. She’s the only person who’s lost an election to him! Why would you interview her on this? Why would anyone allow her to be involved in this campaign? The only things you should be asking her is “how does it feel to be history’s biggest loser?” I’m even more on the side of “the democrats want to lose” now, because why else would you take her advice?

She really is uniquely unlikable, it’s almost impressive. She’s so good at saying the worst possible thing in any given moment. I truly can’t think of a worse answer than the one she gave if your goal is to get people to vote for your guy.

She probably has a lot of blackmailable knowledge on Democrats from being married to a president

[–] Des@hexbear.net 20 points 7 months ago (1 children)

"clinton crime family" probably as legit as the trump one

She’s the only person who’s lost an election to him!

It's worse than that. She actually built him up and made sure he'd be the Republican nominee. LOL. "The Pied Piper Strategy". Materially supporting the guy she now wants to convince everyone is literally the devil incarnate is worse than simply being "unqualified"; its downright depraved. Gaslighting of the highest order.

"The Pied Piper Strategy".

I am so angry at the naming of their little coup. It makes me sound like a nutjob for mentioning it to the libs who know nothing about the DNCs little (and ongoing with a different name) scam

[–] NewLeaf@hexbear.net 9 points 7 months ago (3 children)

It doesn't matter. If you mention it to libs, they refuse to engage with it. I'm currently trying to get some moron on reddit to even read an article about it, and all they come back with is

smuglord "so? I see Ted cruz and other names on that list"

Money... she's probably so hooked into the fundraising loops that ostracizing her would risk the DNC and Democratic Party losing a fuckton of cash. And since we know that winning and losing don't really matter to the political parties, only that they can keep the donor money rolling in... shrug-outta-hecks

[–] ClimateChangeAnxiety@hexbear.net 10 points 7 months ago (3 children)

That’s exactly what I mean though, why? Why don’t those fundraising loops kick her out for sucking so bad and being annoying?

If you’re a mega-rich white liberal donor, why would a call from her make you donate that sweet sweet cash? The incredibly unlikable woman who lost the layup election to the scary orange man? I just can’t fathom her being an effective fundraiser.

She lost to Trump but she is also literaly the wife of the last ~~white~~ good Dem president. Its all team sports along with personal connections. The people she influences are all people perpetually stuck between 1998-2008. Yes she lost to Trump but so what? Its not like the actual Dem leadership or wealthy core actualy lost anything, they're not even embarrassed, they have already admitted it was a fluke and/or it was the fault of those incompetent "pol science" guys Nate copper adjacent grifters.

They keep telling themselves its all because they hired the wrong people, not because they suck as politicians etc.

Also go back to the slogan, the people that support her unironicaly believe it was her turn, its not a slogan, its a real belief. I doubt that changed at all, she still "deserves it". Guess why? White, powerful, rich with a long resume and wife of their idol.

[–] DamarcusArt@lemmygrad.ml 7 points 7 months ago

Maybe they threaten their donors with a call from her? "Donate to the dems or else we'll get Clinton on the line."

Hilary telling me to vote Biden? Oh yeah, I'm convinced. It's her turn ~~to tell me to vote for Genocide Joe~~

[–] the_post_of_tom_joad@hexbear.net 43 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I get the libs using Bernie to try and beg leftists to hold their nose, but hillary? Who the fuck still likes her?

[–] Assian_Candor@hexbear.net 32 points 7 months ago

Nobody that isnt already voting for Biden, that's for sure

[–] anarchoilluminati@hexbear.net 39 points 7 months ago

Loser just mad it wasn't "a hard choice" not to vote for her.

Get over yourself, loser! SAD!

[–] Thordros@hexbear.net 38 points 7 months ago (1 children)

no more half measures walter

[–] edge@hexbear.net 28 points 7 months ago

Well it was such a winning strategy for her.

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 25 points 7 months ago

Having the human equivalent of Leukemia telling me to do something is surely a strategy born out of rational heads that can check the pulse of the nation

[–] flan@hexbear.net 25 points 7 months ago

she always knows just what to say

[–] ziggurter@hexbear.net 23 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

Blah, blah, blah.

I guess she's probably trying to talk down at us again, but honestly all I hear is, "I once had literal house slaves."

[–] someone@hexbear.net 23 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Who's this "Biden" guy? I thought we were supposed to vote for Ninety Nine Percent Hitler. Make up your mind, Democrats.

[–] ziggurter@hexbear.net 7 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Ninety Nine Percent Hitler

I think you mean One Percent Not-Hitler, sweaty.

Just mask off now, no more "democracy is where you choose your representative", now that quiet part is out loud, it's not your choice to make, "get over yourself"

[–] Frogmanfromlake@hexbear.net 18 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

This is going to be her entire personality until her last breathe. Jesus.

[–] DanicaTheRebel@hexbear.net 17 points 7 months ago

I was watching some clips from the 2016 election period and I'm genuinely baffled by how anyone could stand listening to her voice. Hillary is so utterly insufferably uncharismatic and is a husk of a human being. My 2016 self was probably still too much into my lib phase to really notice. At least Biden has that senile grampa persona and Obama is a faux progressive.

[–] Pastaguini@hexbear.net 17 points 7 months ago

I was thinking about this the other day. The fact that she isn’t using every minute of publicity she has to speak out against the electoral college is very telling. The fact that she won the popular vote in 2016 but lost the electoral college but still won’t speak out against the institution that caused that result, and is in fact advocating for continued participation in that broken system is very telling.

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 15 points 7 months ago

But it's her turn

[–] bennieandthez@lemmygrad.ml 14 points 7 months ago

Lol they're literally doing everything possible to make Biden lose

[–] HeavenAndEarth@hexbear.net 13 points 7 months ago (1 children)

With charisma like this, it's astounding that she lost

And here I was, just about to write her in. Too bad, I thought it was Her Turn

[–] Rivalarrival 6 points 7 months ago (5 children)

Before I read this, I had planned to vote for Biden. After reading this, I am still going to. But while I was reading this, I felt a brief but overpowering urge to stay at home on election day.

Last time I felt anything like this was November 8, 2016.

[–] princeofsin@hexbear.net 50 points 7 months ago (12 children)

Its ok fam. The empire is going to continue the killing regardless of your worthless vote.

Literally voting for genocide. There is no lesser of two evils here. That’s a shameful thing to do, hopefully you don’t do it

[–] emizeko@hexbear.net 39 points 7 months ago

Biden lied about having seen photos of beheaded babies to enable the genocidal murder of tens of thousands of children, and you're going to endorse that

[–] CyborgMarx@hexbear.net 23 points 7 months ago

You know most people (even many nazis) would be embrassed to openly admit they're planning to wholeheartedly endorse genocide, but I guess lemmy libs are too racist to care

[–] edge@hexbear.net 15 points 7 months ago

You probably shouldn't tacitly approve of genocide like that.
