I'm harnessing all my knowledge from the women hivemind borg cube and it reports back that he looks very sweet with his flowers

Women πŸ‘ Don't πŸ‘ Like πŸ‘ FlowersπŸ‘

They like Protracted People's Wars and people who do the dishes. And sometimes flowers.

I personally love flowers, but if you brings flowers to a first date you and your unit would get cut off and surrounded in a war

[–] WhoaSlowDownMaurice@hexbear.net 21 points 6 months ago

hey, just thought I'd let you know that I'll be thinking of the phrase, "you and your unit would get cut off and surrounded in a war" for a while, comrade

Women want an ar-15 and a pack of smokes.

[–] kristina@hexbear.net 4 points 6 months ago

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 2 points 6 months ago

What about vodka and a pack of smokes

[–] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 23 points 6 months ago

"female psychology", a normal phrase from a normal mind.

Female psychology understanders will be like, β€œbuy my 40-hour course on negging and how to do it”

Your comment is kinda lame, like it was written by a dummy. I bet you are ugly.

as a marriage old head i can say flowers are always the move. i hope his date went well.

edit alright im a little confused by the other comments in here, my feedback is anecdotal and apparently im the only person who consisntently dated and then married flower enjoyers

[–] CriticalOtaku@hexbear.net 8 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I think most of the comments are being sarcastic

I think most people would be happy to receive flowers from a date

[–] Beetle@hexbear.net 6 points 6 months ago (1 children)

No there’s definitely people that don’t like receiving anything on a first date because women often learn through experience that with a gift comes an expectation. Like someone else said in another comment, you have to feel the vibes a bit to know if it will be appreciated, and sometimes you just have to guess with the chance of making a mistake.

[–] CriticalOtaku@hexbear.net 2 points 6 months ago

Yeah, that's fair.

[–] Chump@hexbear.net 4 points 6 months ago (1 children)

No one dislikes flowers. They’re literally evolutionarily pretty

[–] Hermes@hexbear.net 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I dont like flowers. They are a waste of labor

[–] AnarchoAnarchist@hexbear.net 8 points 6 months ago

[–] blame@hexbear.net 15 points 6 months ago (1 children)

[–] miz@hexbear.net 16 points 6 months ago

oh like shitting a brick

in basketball "bricking it" is when it clangs off the rim I think

[–] Yukiko@hexbear.net 13 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Don't know if I would want flowers on a first date. I do love flowers, but I dunno. Feels like a bunch of expectations rolled up into a single thing. Let me get to know you first.

[–] Thallo@hexbear.net 11 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

For sure, I also love flowers, but if I got them on a first date I'd be like huh

[–] kristina@hexbear.net 12 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

My bf got me cause he was the first guy to do that and ace my Marxism quiz to boot shrug-outta-hecks

Its genuinely very sweet though it could be coming on too hard for some women especially if you haven't talked to her much, maybe second date material. If you talked a lot like me and my bf did I feel its a good vibe for a first date.

[–] AnarchoAnarchist@hexbear.net 8 points 6 months ago

You gotta feel the vibes, but if it is a hit it's a home run.
