(Could be a false alarm but) Telegram channels I’m following announced five minutes ago that Tehran, Shiraz, and Hamadan just activated their air defenses. The entity can’t help bombing brown folks, even when it would clearly help them a great deal to take a break for at least a day or two.

The game theory academic who became famous on youtube a day or two ago is predicting that the USA is going to do a (suicidal) ground invasion of Iran. I can also hear Justin Podur saying that all this shit with Trump getting angry at Netanyahu is just for show.

“The war crime of October 7.” This guy is another AOCIA. If he becomes mayor, nothing will change.

He’s going to do it.

I generally assume that I can only do creative things (writing for me) in the morning before I go to work. After work, the best I can do is chores and maybe some reading and guitar.

Send them to the front lines.

We have to stop letting boers into the USA until we figure out what is going on.

If it had been me, I simply would have not swallowed the bee.

Actual antisemitism (hatred of jews rather than questioning isn’treal) has been an american thing since day one. Columbus left Spain on his famous voyage while his financial backers were expelling jews who had been there for centuries at least, I wouldn’t be surprised at all to find that some of the money for his three ships came from expelled jews.

I’m half jewish and can count the number of antisemitic comments I’ve heard in my life on one hand, but one was just a few weeks ago when I was at the supply store for my blue collar job, a wretched hive of rightwing scum and villainy, where one of the white boomers there said something about “jewing someone down” right next to me. This dude also almost certainly supports amerikkka committing suicide to defend isn’treal. I of course couldn’t say a fucking word to this piece of shit because then I would have trouble doing basic shit for my job for the rest of my career in this hellhole.

Counterpoint: keep an eye on the news and do whatever you can to help our friends in the Middle East.

I checked 538, it’s real. Amerikkka is just one giant lynch mob.

“Trump do things, big strong man do things is good.” — 50% of amerikkkans

Also saw a YouTube video where a trump supporter thought that foreign countries have to pay tariffs when trump raises them.

Put “fucking” into any google search and the ai won’t be there. At least for now.

I've been a communist since 2017 or so. I've taken personal risks to help Palestine and have followed the genocide very closely. I didn't vote for Trump or Harris. Throughout Biden's presidency, I insisted online and offline that he was merely a continuation of Trump's presidency. I know that Trump's second stint in the White House is just more of what Biden was doing, but with less of a mask. Liberals, at the same time, are saying that we deserve to suffer and die for not supporting Kamala. Elon's Nazi salute, along with the fact that it was barely mentioned if at all in the corporate press—meaning that the vast majority of westerners around you are not even aware that it happened—also really just broke something in me. I'm half Jewish, and I'm like, this is the sign that it's time to go. Jews who support isn'treal have nothing to fear, for the moment, anyway, but communist Jews? Those concentration camps Obama and Trump and Biden built aren't just for undocumented immigrants. Plenty of American citizens of all colors are going to wind up there, too. The idea seems to be that the ruling class here is finished with immigrant labor and is interested in expanding prison slavery.

I thought I could deal with Trump being in the White House again, that it would just be the same shit, but funnier. I'm not in a terrible financial position and I'm a cis white guy. But it's been hard for me, like I think about it constantly and have trouble focusing on anything else. I've been spending more time here, too, since hexbear really is a refuge from the rest of the internet (I also got xiaohongshu). But I just started applying for jobs in China (after a hiatus of a year or so). I don't know if I'll actually end up going since getting the work visa is such a pain (fingerprints + using a courier service to get original important documents back and forth to the Chinese embassy), and I have mixed feelings about leaving too, since not everyone can go, and if I leave, that's one less person to help fight fascism. I think Lenin said that labor aristocrats are weak, cowardly, unreliable, and that's me at this point, just whining about the apocalypse (the unveiling). I've been wanting to write something like this here for a day or two and just thought I would share to see if anyone else is feeling similarly. Sorry for the long paragraphs but I'm honestly not sure how to break it up. Feel free to criticize me if you want.

A Palestinian I know in Gaza is not able to withdraw the money that I sent her. She needs to use a cryptocurrency app called OKX to do this. If anyone here is familiar with that app, please get in touch with me. I know this isn’t the place to talk about cryptocurrency, and I hate it too, I just thought I would ask and see if anyone could help. Please also spare me any warnings about fraud, I’ve already considered them. Thank you.

It's also available as a podcast for those like me who hate youtube.

I'm maybe about halfway through this interview. Early on, Hudson (a Trotskyist), claims that the Soviets never understood or cared about Marx's Theories of Surplus Value, and that they weren't doing real socialism. He also says that this is behind the real estate crisis in China, but doesn't really elaborate as to why. Wolff sort of agrees with him because to him, it's not socialism unless there's democracy at work. He hasn't mentioned Mondragon yet, although I assume that this is what he means since he's talked about it before, even though Mondragon itself has issues of its own, notably that you have to "buy in" in order to work there. To me it seems more like a shitload of business partners rather than a socialist enterprise. (I think Destiny, forgive me for mentioning him, criticized Wolff regarding Mondragon because Mondragon itself also purchases its materials from capitalist enterprises.) I was also thinking that Wolff's democracy at work has actually been tried here and there. I feel like Orwell of all people describes this in his account of the Spanish Civil War. I felt a little frustrated as I was listening to this because if I had been present at the interview, I would have said that AES countries want to do democracy at work, but can't actually do it yet because they are constantly under siege. I was also thinking of how Chinese people consistently say that their government does a good job and they live in a democracy. Chinese workplaces are not paradise but I suspect that it's generally better to work for capitalists in China than in the USA.

Just some thoughts on this podcast that I wanted to share, in case anyone else wanted to comment.

I've been reading Capital off and on for months and this is a seemingly pretty important difference that I don't understand. Is there a difference between surplus labor and profit, and if so, what is it? Any explanations, links, or chapters in Capital I should check out are appreciated.

My money is on Harris supporters because all of the craziest Trump supporters were thrown in prison after January 6.

There will definitely be public tantrums, plus people doing pointless email campaigns to convince electors to change their votes. I do have to wonder if liberals will do their own Stop the Steal…

Good at losing lol gottem

Discovered this guy’s music a couple of weeks ago and have been listening nonstop ever since. This song is called “Bosat el Reeh” on streaming services. He wrote three hundred songs, sings beautifully, and is also a beast on the oud.

Title (hexbear.net)

New hexbears be like: where’s the cool zone I miss it so much

Old hexbears be like: I bring the cool zone wherever I go

I’ve had people laugh. Others just stare. One or two people murmured some kind of critical response that I couldn’t hear. I find it strange and just wanted to know if this is an ordinary experience. It’s rare for someone to agree. I live in a rich white area.

Haha take that commies.

I was masked in a hardware store. A guy who looked like Tom Skerritt from thirty years ago but taller and thinner looked at me and started ranting about communism with his employee. Did you know that communists want to get everyone dependent on the government? That’s their plan!!

He also said that he had read Marxists and recommended that his employee do so.

This guy also wears some kind of uniform with an American flag on the shoulder every day. I always got bad vibes from him but never really heard him speak. Until now.

I didn’t say anything because I go to this place all the time for work and I see him there constantly and suspect that he may be the owner.
