My fave method is letting autocorrect get it. Because im lazy.
Easy peasy.
I usually look at easily-misspelled words in terms of etymology. The word itself stems from "city-dwellers:"
- The root word in "bourgeois/borgeoisie" is "bourg," which means a city or small town.
- Then a silent E to represent the French silencing their colonial subjects.
- Then a pretentious "-ois" because, again, the French
I just kinda mash keys until it looks good on my screen. Somehow my brain can recognize bad spelling even if I can't spell shit 👍

When I remember that it is from the French I think "Hon hon hon, baguette" to myself for a bit and then with all the respect that the French and their language are due I choose to spell it "Boar guys".

Bursjoasi is how it's spelled in Norwegian but it's more common to say borgerskap anyways

My favourite method is to remember how it's spelled and then spell it correctly based on that.
