It’s good to know McDonald’s will higher people as down on his luck as this guy, felon in debt millions, can’t even do business in the state of NewYork anymore. Gives hope for the under dog.

I was really hoping his parasympathetic nervous system would have been willing to take one for the team and plunged him into the fryer head first, but no such luck.

For a fat, lazy fuck, his body really needs to let him down more often.

[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 2 points 6 minutes ago* (last edited 3 minutes ago) (1 children)

The parasympathetic system is responsible for stimulation of "rest-and-digest" or "feed-and-breed"[4] activities that occur when the body is at rest, especially after eating, including sexual arousal, salivation, lacrimation (tears), urination, digestion, and defecation

I had earlier suggested he stick his dick in the fryolater...that sounds more likely to be something triggered by the parasympathetic nervous system than his head.

Although I've never heard "rest and digest" or "feed and breed" as comparable to "fight or flight". I suppose this is the mechanism of action for finding your way to a mans heart via his stomach.

"Feed and breed" will be definitely oing on the invitations for my next potluck-slash-orgy.

I was thinking he'd eat a hamberder than then *dunk.*

[–] WrenFeathers@lemmy.world 8 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Holy shit man, I’m laughing my ass off! This was a solid burn!

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 8 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I thought maybe 'parasympathetic nervous system' was too obscure. I didn't even know what it was until I went to the Mayo clinic.

But also, I decided fuck it.

[–] SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net 6 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

It can’t be too obscure if we all have one ;)

[–] TotalFat@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Counterpoint: common sense

[–] SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net 2 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

Oh no, that’s just a misnomer. Common sense is not at all common. It should be, maybe, depending on the context, and maybe by a certain age it is. But it’s not common as in applies to most people.

It’s like “everyone knows”.

Yes this is 10,000.

https://xkcd.com/1053/

However, literally all of us have the Parasympathetic nervous system. You’d pretty much fail to be alive without it.

[–] Snapz@lemmy.world 4 points 9 hours ago

Mmmommy wow!!! I'm a big kid naa-[pants shitting noises] now!

[–] ThePyroPython@lemmy.world 63 points 16 hours ago (4 children)

Don't you think he looks tired.

[–] wick@lemm.ee 3 points 8 hours ago

Doctor Who rules don't apply to trumples. They break any that inconvenience them.

[–] GladiusB@lemmy.world 8 points 11 hours ago

He looks like a 4 year old that is forced to stand still for a Christmas photo.

[–] slurpeesoforion@startrek.website 14 points 15 hours ago

I think it looks like he took a swim in the fry vat.

[–] ironhydroxide@sh.itjust.works 10 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

He looks like the "ding fries are done" guy

[–] SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net 1 points 7 hours ago

I had no idea this wasn’t originally a family guy skit. TIL.

[–] Exusia@lemmy.world 6 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Dawn of a new era of "Ding fries are done" powered by AI

[–] abigscaryhobo@lemmy.world 2 points 8 hours ago

Oh my God someone PLEEAASE. We need to get that made and going around.

[–] Seraph@fedia.io 100 points 18 hours ago (5 children)

No idea who convinced Trump this was a good idea - but THANK YOU!

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 3 points 5 hours ago

If he loses the election that's the picture everyone will go with. Although he's still dangerously close to winning.

[–] lemmy_outta_here@lemmy.world 24 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

Now JD Vance should cosplay a Wal-Mart greeter: "Salutations, fellow human"

[–] PhlubbaDubba@lemm.ee 13 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

"Have you met your breeding quota to preserve the white race?"

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 2 points 6 hours ago

I feel like the only proper response to that involves hot tar and a sack of feathers.

[–] ronalicious@lemmy.world 69 points 18 hours ago (4 children)

I'm guessing it was his idea, and they couldn't convince him not to do it.

[–] Zombiepirate@lemmy.world 33 points 18 hours ago

I wonder if this will go on his resumé?

[–] GoodEye8@lemm.ee 4 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

To do actual work? I doubt it.

[–] M137@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago* (last edited 9 hours ago) (1 children)

There was no actual work done, the place wasn't open to the public so there was no pressure. I highly doubt he did more than look at the actual workers show how stuff is done and then pose for photos that make it look like he's doing anything.

[–] GoodEye8@lemm.ee 2 points 5 hours ago

My point was that for it to be his idea he would've had to think about doing actual work. Even if he dismisses doing any work the thought would still have to cross his mind. I have a hard time believing it was his idea because doing actual work wouldn't even cross his mind.

The only thing missing was JD Vance going into a tailspin while trying to order as the most awkward human being alive.

[–] crank0271@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

"How long have you worked here?"

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 25 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

"yeah, burgers, fries, whatever seems appropriate. might want a drink but, yeah, whatever"

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 28 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

"and what would you like to drink'

"Ok, good"

[–] moody@lemmings.world 7 points 15 hours ago

I'm suspecting McDonald's paid him for this publicity stunt. (You know, like him posing with beans in the oval office.) Although, him being a loser and a bad business man, they may have convinced him to do it for free or for an hamberder or so. "You can keep all the fries you make." 😆

[–] Dead_or_Alive@lemmy.world 9 points 9 hours ago

Trump loves McDonalds and fast food in general. I have no doubt this was his idea.

Incidentally my favorite John Stewart segment is one where he tears into Trump for taking Sarah Palin to Sabarros for New York Pizza back in 2011.

Vote anyway, so we can be sure to catch this type of expression after Election Day.

[–] lennybird@lemmy.world 28 points 18 hours ago (4 children)

Wondering if there will be any polling conducted on the success of this.

Like at best it's viral media attention as Trump always gets. I'm sure 4chan incels will be like, "kek he's so fuckin funny!" but beyond that, who is this for... ?

[–] MrMcGasion@lemmy.world 32 points 17 hours ago (2 children)

It's for the other wealthy assholes who have never worked at McDonalds (or any other working-class job) and are so out of touch they think this is good outreach to the poors, showing Trump as a relatable everyman. They have no awareness of how much he just looked like a rich asshole who has never done any real work in his life, showing up to work an average job for a couple hours during the slow part of the day and walking away with a warped view of what it's like to be working class.

[–] HawlSera@lemm.ee 4 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

It's odd they'd even sign off on this as this is pretty much one of the blunders Romney made against Obama

[–] SolarMonkey@slrpnk.net 5 points 7 hours ago

You say that like his team isn’t running their collective tongue around his rectum at any given time.

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 1 points 5 hours ago

I don't remember anything like that from Romney, what exactly are you referring to? I only remember him calling poor people moochers, binders full of women and the dog thing. Oh, and the car elevator in his house.

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 11 points 11 hours ago

And they closed the store down so it wouldn't be too busy for him.

Coping mechanism

It’s like an AI image prompt, but real.
