Hopefully she stands for trans rights in the future though. I disagree with her action here but i also understand the desire to make it go away. It would just suck if the first openly trans congressperson ends up supporting a ban on transgender healthcare for minors or some shit like that
The gym part is even more confusing for me, like why do they have a women's gym in the white house to begin with, is it just a historical vestige or is there so much sexual harassment in DC that they needed to lock out the men? It's not a particularly normal thing in the US to have women's gyms, the YWCA allow men. Even if they are going with the she's not a woman argument, how does that apply to the gym?
Probably had to do it for a safe space from Biden.
