Smugly blaming minorities for their own persecution is definitely an item in the "how to be a liberal" starter pack.

[–] Evilsandwichman@hexbear.net 31 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

If anyone was confused by what 'scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds' meant, they're getting a good example right now

[–] TheLepidopterists@hexbear.net 75 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (2 children)

The Democrats in that thread are indistinguishable from Nazis.

EDIT: the deportation thing is also super telling. Citizens vote. Are they calling for race based deportation of people with citizenship or buying into Republican conspiracy theories about immigrants voting? Either way fuck these people.

Starship troopers was a documentary

[–] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 25 points 6 months ago

I'm joining the war on bugs on the side of the bugs.

[–] PKMKII@hexbear.net 21 points 6 months ago

I don’t think they put that much thought into it. Their liberal savior fantasy got denied and now they’re lashing out at the minorities for not accepting the gracious “help” of “I’m speaking.”

[–] Llituro@hexbear.net 63 points 6 months ago

yale owns and operated a military drone against like 100 peaceful student protestors under the joe biden presidency, the fuck are these libs on about lmao

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 54 points 6 months ago

How is that leopards eating my face? Because they didn't vote? Lmao liberals are pieces of shit just like Trump voting chuds

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 52 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

Literally how many times did people say, “at least she’ll listen to protestors while he’ll make it illegal to protest.”

"I'm speaking."

[–] Evilsandwichman@hexbear.net 20 points 6 months ago

Basically "she'll humor you, he won't"

[–] FourteenEyes@hexbear.net 47 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Somebody needs to inform these people about the deportation numbers under Biden

Liberalism is a political and moral dead-end, and liberals (at least the big L variety you find posting like this) are terrible people.

[–] Gorb@hexbear.net 44 points 6 months ago

Scroll down in the comments far enough and you find that they actually support genocide and just outright say its good

[–] corgiwithalaptop@hexbear.net 39 points 6 months ago (2 children)

Got a link? I just wanna talk to them...

Redditors have such an obnoxious way of talking

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 27 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

Uhm excuse me sweaty actually we are writing not talking. Checkmate. Quod erat demonstrandum. Ipso facto lorem ipso custodiet caveat emptor Latin SPQR gladiator 2.

[–] Evilsandwichman@hexbear.net 13 points 6 months ago

I would send every liberal on that blue stormfront to Gaza if I could.

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 9 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

Always have to use the most convoluted words and phrases possible in places they don't make sense. They pad out their posts the same way you try to fluff up your high school essays, thinking this makes them look intelligent. Don't forget to throw in some centrist """""nuance""""" shit in there, too.

What makes it worse is how other r*dditors do think this way of talking is intelligent. I'm not looking at the thread because I have enough brainworms, yet I still know the top comment is either some meme/joke response or a 4,000 word essay with zero material analysis.

[–] RedHelhest@hexbear.net 35 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Within that thread the scratched liberals are tearing off their masks and exposing themselves as leopards hungry for faces with no difference from the conservatives. gulag

[–] Evilsandwichman@hexbear.net 19 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I went there, was going to post an angry response and then realized what's the point.

There was a person saying that Kamala was herself to blame for standing with genocide and someone responded......'still trying to climb that high horse, huh'

I can't even

America delenda est

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 9 points 6 months ago

....and I hope that horse tramples them to death after bucking them in the groin.

Fuck these people. They will be executed alongside fascists when the revolution comes.

Wouldn't the "leopard ate my face" moment have been Palestinian Americans voting for Joe Biden and then him doing a genocide against their families?

The leopard eating face moment already happened.

[–] ksynwa@lemmygrad.ml 36 points 6 months ago (1 children)

uhh he isn't even in office yet you goddamned psycopath

[–] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 14 points 6 months ago

we are currently about to start the 9th year and 3rd term of the trump presidency. and unless you support the Joe Manchin/Liz Cheney Pro-Premeptive Nuclear Holocaust unity ticket in 2028, you will get a 4th and 5th trump term.

[–] godlessworm@hexbear.net 35 points 6 months ago (1 children)

libs on reddit love posting this narrative. "lol the dumb arabs thought trump would be better so now they're gonna get deported for being muslim because trump is racist, unlike me" meanwhile nobody thought trump would be better, just that biden/harris couldn't be worse than what's already happening. for the year leading up to election day, all we heard was "progressives/leftists/young people will give the election to trump if they abstain from voting just because they don't like harris" but why is anybody obligated to vote for someone who they actively don't support the policies of, just because these other people do, and somehow that obligates the rest of us? they can't comprehend that their candidate is no better than the other one on anything other than rhetoric. the democratic party knew what would happen but rather than changing their course and even paying lipservice to progressives and leftists and young people, they took cheyney endorsements, went further right, and literally plugged their ears to people's protests. they gave trump the election, not people who didn't vote or voted third party

[–] quarrk@hexbear.net 7 points 6 months ago

The DNC is faced with two fronts: a looming class war and a battle for state control within their own class. They decided the class war is more existentially threatening.

Taking a hard stance against leftist ideology and following up with this kind of blaming propaganda is necessary for them to discipline the population in much the same way that employers utilize layoffs to ward off strikes and collective action in the workplace. It works well because when bad things happen like layoffs, people are upset and look for someone to blame. It’s difficult to counter this kind of propaganda.

[–] BodyBySisyphus@hexbear.net 34 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I am not sure how many of these people just thought it was fine because Kamala would win, but I know probably all of them thought that if Trump did win that there would be mass protests by Democrats to help them out.

I have some bad news for them. A lot of us aren’t interested in that this time because Trump won the electoral and popular vote. It’s also tiring to try to keep people from hurting themselves, and at a certain point you just need to give up and let them experience it firsthand in the hopes they will finally pay attention. They are in for a rude awakening.

"Hello! I see no problem with cheerfully announcing that my support for human rights is conditional on an election outcome, and yet I somehow convince myself I am good person on the daily."

[–] Belly_Beanis@hexbear.net 21 points 6 months ago

Fuck these crackers. It's the other way around you dumbfuck racist libs. Leftists, especially leftist PoC, are constantly catering to white liberals to try and get small concessions. We compromise with them all the time to avoid shit like economic depressions or a full collapse of the environment. We don't want to. They're hostile and unhelpful the whole time. Yet we still do it to not make things worse for the most vulnerable. We ejected the Posadists for a reason.

And in comes whitey with this condescending bullshit. We've been fighting this fight longer than we've been alive. Trump is the point where a lot of people gave up and will let these useless fucking white liberals experience a small fraction of what marginalized people face every day.

I'd slap the shit out of someone if they said that to me in person. They'd need it to understand politics isn't some arbitrary thought experiment. It has real consequences and those consequences are what's happening to Palestine.

[–] Feinsteins_Ghost@hexbear.net 29 points 6 months ago

Because you didn’t capitulate to our wants it’s all your fault

[–] SpookyGenderCommunist@hexbear.net 25 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Oh, you mean things they already faced under Biden? God, liberals are fucking stupid

[–] BodyBySisyphus@hexbear.net 19 points 6 months ago

But now it's going to be more in an unspecified way and that's why you should have done a trolley problem.

[–] MidWestKhagan@lemmygrad.ml 22 points 6 months ago

Willing to bet that the OP posts something Islamophobic or anti-Palestine every single day and bots upvote it.

[–] Midnight_Pearl@hexbear.net 21 points 6 months ago

liberals should support china by their own logic

say every accusation they have against china committing genocide is true, they've already made it clear genocide is an acceptable compromise in the face of a greater evil, and china is clearly the lesser evil compared to the united states.

all the things they say china is supposedly doing wouldn't hold a candle to what the US has been doing regularly to muslims for decades now

[–] gay_king_prince_charles@hexbear.net 18 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

Lmao, Harris didn't lose because of Stein or the youth vote. Stein hurt Trump more than any other candidate and Harris won the youth vote. The whole "Palestine protesters were sponsored by Russia and lost us the election" shtick is one of two things. A) a way to manufacture consent for globalizing the Palestinian genocide; B) a way to run away from the fact that Harris lost because she had nothing to offer and didn't even pretend to offer a solution to the contradictions of capitalism.

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 17 points 6 months ago

You could have had the friendly genocide, but nooooo

[–] WhatDoYouMeanPodcast@hexbear.net 16 points 6 months ago

"Helping Cost Kamala the Election"

This is an inaccuracy. LEMF is for when you support the bad guy. The theoretical line is framing it as some kind of instant karma. The response is that we'd have to respond with some sort of hypothetical about how the Dems have been doing tricks on it since before October 7th. Instead you do the work of showing yourself as vindictive and complacent for me.

[–] Evilphd666@hexbear.net 14 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Ok so... most of the protestors were citizens in solidarity. Where are you going to deport them exactly?

[–] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 7 points 6 months ago

I wanna go to Poland.
