How long has Matt been your favorite?
Mine too. He shares my same generalist love of history and desire to parse out how it has unfolded, which in turn led me to Marxism. I wish I had a friend like that in real life to talk to about the stuff Matt has discussed. I just sound insane talking to the random people I encounter everyday about this stuff.
Since I first listened to the pod. He's crazy smart and has such an excellent knowledge of fascism and history. Shame what happened to him though, especially with a newborn on the way.
If it helps at all, he’s the only actually existing chapo (rip Virgil) who could still function after a stroke. Imagine Felix after one, no hope whatsoever.
Now I'm imagining a really old Felix in a nursing home with dementia talking about de_dust2 to a houseplant.

Tbh Felix still manages to get a few good laughs out of my every episode
Katherine made a joke about her being the nepo girlfriend of the show but I'm 99% sure that Will is the nepo girlfriend and she's trying her damnedest to limit the amount she outshines him. I mean I obviously love Will but now that Kath has taken out Matt with the CIA stroke gun she is the undisputed Mr Chapo.
The girlfriends pod was actually really fun way back, obviously they're short one in particular...

I can't read a NYT opinion blurb without reading it in his voice. It's not Will per say but, he does a great job of making people like David Brooks into people who you want to put in a stockade and throw pies at.
Virgil was the only one of the chapos who really did anything for me, I think. Idk I can't recall what Amber looks like, never saw her enough to form that kind of opinion.

He's got kind of a "The Dude" vibe going these days, with the longer hair and greying facial hair, that I actually don't hate, but I wouldn't say I'm personally very attracted to it/him no.
Too masculine for my taste, but I think the Main 5 are all pretty good looking.
I initially read this as "Merkel" and had to do an incredibly disgusted double-take.
He's the only person in the group I'm not attracted to. Felix takes top spot but only cos we could talk about vibeo games

I'm het but I think Will is remarkably ugly.
I’m bi and he has negative attraction from both sides. Despite this, he isn’t ugly enough a decent personality couldn’t salvage. Shame about his personality.
